I thought this was glass, but it's plastic. Doesn't matter it works great and it won't hurt anyone if it falls. Even better than glass.

It's rigid plastic and not glass
Works well enough for what I wanted; an attractive clear cake holder/cover. This is the second one I ordered, the first was damaged in shipping. It arrived damaged, the lid's top notch was broken off. But Amazon shipped me a replacement promptly that was package better.Great looking presentation of the cake.

I ordered this and discovered it’s made of plastic. Not what I was expecting. Item is worth the price. Just not glass. Return to sender!
