Maypole Pair of Convex Glass Caravan Towing Mirrors Universal Fit

I needed a new set of mirrors so tried this type for the first time. Easy to fit once the strap is adjusted to the car mirror.Very stable in the wind with no vibration. One of them did come loose during a journey but that was my fault for not setting them up properly.My door mirrors fold in when I lock the car but they didn't make contact with the window.Car is a Kia Sportage.Other than that, they do the job well.

Been and still using these for over a year now and still do a great job.

Bought for a Vauxhall Insignia 2015: The mirrors themselves are great but the vehicle they go on lets them down. Insufficient room around the vehicle mirror piece means the slide on attachment impacts the mirror and they will not go all the way on. Because of this we have lost one of the pair already on the M4. However, that was better than another design that we lost less than 2 miles from home! On the right vehicle these would be great but not the Insignia with its curved car wing mirrors.

Difficult to review these mirrors, I fitted and took off on m journey and the mirrors seems great. Absolutely no vibration and really clear to see into. 15 mins into my journey I had to pull over as the drivers side mirror was hanging off. Refitted and tightened as much as I could I set off again, an hour into my journey and on the M6 travelling at 60mph the drivers side again worked it's way loose and I hav no choice but to watch it bounce off the road and under my rear wheel. Passenger side was great however ! Don't think I'll be paying for a new set now I'm down to one mirror ! Based on my experience and wether mine were fit for purpose then has to be one star as I spent the remaining 2 hours ob my trip without a mirror !Looking at the reviews losing one mirror seems a common theme.

Fitted my 4 x 4 very well. Well made and strong. The additional strap around the mirror is an excellent security and works well. I was very impressed with the view the mirrors provided. At this price, a third of the Milenco mirrors, these mirrors are excellent value.

Good all round vision, but, despite having a securing strap and the clamps tightened as much as i could one fell off on the motorway where any change of retrieval was impossible

Bought these as an upgrade from the elastic ones that just strap round the mirrors and these are a lot better as they’re more sturdy and quicker to fit. Excellent value for money and arrived next day. Would recommend especially if you have the other type replace them with these

The view in these mirrors is excellent. Far batter than some cheaper alternatives. However, fixing them to the car is another issue entirely. On my first outing I had these attached to a VW T4 Camper and they were great, they didnt move and gave excellent vision. This is probably because the T4 has square mirror cases. On the second outing I used my VW Passat. We weren't even a mile away from our storage and just joined the motorway when both mirrors came loose. I quickly stopped and refixed them. But less than half a mile on and with no hard shoulder now on the motorway the nearside mirror flew off. With no place to stop all I could do was wave it goodbye.It would appear the issue is when the vehicles mirror cases are sloping (or teardrop shaped) the brackets simply slip to the outer edge and come off. I made sure the remaining one was on really tight (bending the plastic bracket under the force of the screw) and it did okay for the next 20 miles.To get us out of trouble I bought some Aldi specials (identical to the cheaper 8322) which were frankly rubbish but at least they stayed put all the way home before I returned them as you couldn't see a thing in them due to vibration in one and the other had a massive magnification in it.On our return 4 days later we found the mirror that had flown off and miraculously it wasnt smashed, though one of the thumb screws had lost its head. I have since found the only way to keep these on with teardrop shaped mirrors (pretty much any new car) that I need to make a strap of cable ties to go where the cars mirror comes out of the door to apply pressure to the mirror and pull it towards the car. Doing this meant it all worked. But its a rubbish solution. on what is quite an expensive mirror.I would have returned them but these seem to be the best of a bad bunch of towing mirrors. Once I find something better these will be in the bin.

Ich habe für unseren Wohnwagen Urlaub Spiehel benötigt. Die Bewertungen dieser Spiegel egal welche man sich anschaut gehen von totalen Mist bis brauchbar. Sie sollten für den Einsatz ( einmaligen) natürlich preiswert sein, die Spiegel nicht beschädigen und gute Sicht nach hinten liefern. Ich probierte nach lesen vieler Rezessionen diese hier aus. Amazon lieferte recht schnell. Ich stellte schnell fest… es sind die falschen. Nicht zwei Gummies sondern zwei Schraubklemmen und ein Gummiband.Da unsere Abfahrt mit einer Retoure und Neubestellung nicht konform gegangen wären montierte ich diese.Montage klar Kinderleicht. Einstellen wie alle manuellen… fummelig bis man den richtigen Winkel hat. Aber das hat nicht mit den Spiegeln zu tun 😂Einstell Möglichkeiten sind sehr gut und im großen Spektrum möglich.Fahrtest gleich Urlaubsfahrt. Entweder taugen die was oder ich kotze wegen dem prognostizierten Wackeln. Fehlanzeige. Wir fahren einen Honda Civic Tourer und hatten einen mittel großen Adria mit 1,4t hinten dran.Die Spiegel taten das was sie sollten, mir eine gute Sicht nach hinten liefern. Vibrieren ja ein bisschen. Es war aber nie als das eine Sicht nach hinten nicht möglich gewesen wäre.Tatsächlich bin ich am Ende über diese Falsch Lieferung sehr froh.Gute Spiegel mit großem Sichtfeld.Die Fotos sind nicht ganz optimal weil Sie während der Fahrt aufgenommen wurden.Hoffe ich konnte damit bei der Suche nach Zubehör Spiegeln helfen. Muy buen producto. Precio inmejorable por la calidad que tienen. Las fijaciones són perfectas para acoplarse a los retrovisores del coche de manera estable y segura para evitar que se caigan con la velocidad y las vibraciones. Son de un tamaño óptimo para tener un campo de visión ámplio, y se pueden alargar bastante a través de la varilla para obtener todavía mayor amplitud. Completamente satisfecho con la compra.
