My go-to harness
I recommend this for a small too medium size dog. It did prevent pulling but the front is not very secure. I liked it that way though because my dogs hair can get matted and the fit helped with limiting that.

My pup is happy!
My dog was a serious puller on leash. This is her 2nd harness - exact same style. I use a double hook leash-clip one end on front ring & other end to top ring on her back. She cannot pull anymore. Her old harness was needing replacement but worked so well, why change?

The Immediate Change was Shocking
I have an 8 month old Red Heeler mix rescue pup and boy is this guy a handful. He's getting taller by the day & is extremely hyperactive. We take him & his 2 year old fur-brother for walks every night & my pup pulls so much choking himself with his collar. He will try to race in the road at on coming & passing vehicles, pulling & barking. It's terrifying. I always have flashes of fear thinking about if he ever broke his collar or pulled the leash out of my hands when he's doing this. We've tried 3 or 4 harnesses, one pretty expensive one & none of them worked. He still pulled and/or they fit weird, they were difficultto get on him, they made him uncomfortable, etc. I decided to try this one recommended by my doggy daycare provider. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised to find that this is so easy to put on him, it's not uncomfortable for him, & I just tried hooking the leash to the front rather than the back for the 1st time after 3 or 4 walks with his new harness & I was shocked. I was breaking out in a hysteria of giggles out whole walk because he DIDN'T PULL!! The first time he tried he ended up falling over in the dirt which was hilarious 😂 This was the first walk in months & months where I wasn't frustrated most of the time struggling to keep up or slow him down.I read some of the negative reviews from people who said this didn't work before my purchase so I'd really not expected much but now I wonder if those reviewers were hooking the leash up to the front of the harness or the back. He totally pulled from the back but duh... Of course. The front hook makes it so they turn themselves sideways if they pull & they'll wind up in the dirt if they pull too hard so I'd be interested to see a dog that still pulls just as much as before with the leash in the front of this harness... It's got to be comical 🤭

Didn't deter pulling
I picked this no-pull harness because the design seemed like it covered less area, and my dog overheats easily. However, regardless of whether it was cooler than the others, because there's no stabilizing strap running from the chest to the strap underneath, the whole thing tended to rotate just enough that the front clip would be on the side. And yes, the straps were sufficiently tightened. The purpose of having the leash clip on the chest area is so that if the dog pulls on the leash, it turns them around to face you so they have a better chance of focusing on you instead of whatever they're trying to get to. This one didn't help with that.

Great material and look, but the frontloading portion doesn't do the best job
I bought this harness for my 70lb 3 year old Shepherd Mix. I got a large and with the adjustable straps got it to fit, though the belly strap is near max length and the chest straps are near the shortest lengths. My dog has a bit of an odd shape but the dimensions do seem a little off; not a big deal though. The harness is of quality material, both from a comfort perspective and durability. When the leash is attached to the backloading clip it has good control, and the handle is an added benefit. My major issue with the harness is how the chest section and front-loading clip works. Regardless how tight I make it, when my dog pulls while the leash is on the front-loading clip the material gets pulled to the side rather than it staying snug against my dog and turning him to the side. It still does the job, but it's definitely not as efficient and just looks bad. I bought this primarily for hiking as I have a gentle leader for normal walks with him, so it's not a big issue. But for those that are looking for a primary harness for their dog and they have a dog that tends to pull, just be wary of that.

How it fit
The black dog is Luke. He is a lab/border collie rescue 45lbs and loves to pull. I have been using a Gentle Leader on his nose which works great. I wanted a harness that would act the same but didn't like the gentle Leader harness one. Tried this today was 1st real try after several adjustments. He will need a little teaching again but I think its going to work. The like is that the harness seems sturdy, nice looking, slip on is great and lite weight. Pro was no instructions on how to adjust and kept having long straps after adjusting. Finally figured that out but I still need a little adjustment on the neck portion. It does ride up to the side but once a little tighter won't be as much. So far I really like it.The little guy is Cruiser. He is a dachshund/beagle mix rescue. He may be only 15lbs but he is a mighty little guy. Keeps that nose to the ground and likes to go on the run. He too also was on the Gentle Leader on his nose. It also works great. But he sure didn't like it on the nose. So, he got a new harness for Christmas too. His was a lot easier to adjust and he is picking up on the training very quick.Cruiser is using a small and Luke is using a medium. The small was perfect on Cruiser. Luke around the chest is a good fit but the neck area is where my adjusting is still working on. I tried the small on Luke and that fit perfect on the neck but the chest strap was to short. So thats why he's on the medium. Will give you an update in couple weeks on how their both doing.

Inefficient, ineffective don’t waste your money.
If you are like me and are desperate to be able to take your dog for a NORMAL walk ( as in not pulling you up the street) this harness seems too good to be true... and that’s because it is. I have a medium springer who pulls like a champ. The harness it too flimsy ( moves a lot around the dog) as there is no undercarriage support. the front of the harness when clipped to the lead twists around to the back. It also within two days ( only worn for 2 walks ) has rubbed the skin under both of his arms and He is now in pain because of this. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE.

Excellent quality, I can highly recommend them
I bought this for our adult West Highland Terrier.I'm pleased I checked the size required by measuring the dog correctly, the small size was perfect, with plenty of adjustment left.I've had a couple of harness's but each required making the dog step into the harness, with this one you simply pull it over the head, pull the strap under the belly & clip the buckle up.It's a pleasure to use, easy control, & comfortable for the dog.As there's no strain on the dogs neck or spine it prevents any injuries.

A beautifully designed, lightweight, effective harness; the best I've ever bought.
My current dog is my 4th Border Collie and I've bought many harnesses over the years. This "Thinkpet No Pull Breathable Sport Harness" (a really snappy title!) is the best I've owned. It is light and effective. One major advantage to this harness is that it clips in place with only one snap clip. That is so much easier than fumbling around for one each side of the dog, especially if it has long fur. There is also a red slide button to lock the clip in place. Both the handle and the ring on the back are easily accessed. Also, the chest ring is easy to find. Because of the design, there is a large opening to slide the harness over the dog's head. There are two minor disadvantages. Firstly, the main strap under the chest tends to pull loose. I've sorted this by additionally securing it with two rubber bands. Secondly, when using using the chest ring, the pull on the harness does cause it to skew somewhat to the side. But this doesn't materially matter, it just looks a bit odd.In summary, a beautifully designed, lightweight effective harness; the best I've ever bought.

Disappointing-offers no help with pulling
I measured my dog as suggested and bought the correct size for his measurements (springer spaniel-9months old) have adjusted the straps each time hes worn it and they have loosened while walking on all occasions. This is also falsely advertised as a front leading no pull harness. When clipped to the front ring the front panel pulls round to the side and therefore has no more control over the dog than if you clipped to the back of the harness. Very disappointed. It is relatively easy to put on (I'd imagine a lot easier if you have a less energetic dog that doesn't want to eat the harness as you put it over their head) but fiddly to adjust. If you are looking for help with your dog pulling this is not the harness for you.

great harness
perfect harness for my dog...she has sensitive skin and so I needed a harness that had small coverage as a lot of harnesses have a lot of body coverage and rub the skin of my girl's chest and give her a rash. This harness has small coverage whilst also giving the sturdiness of a harness which I need as my dog pulls out walking. This harness is perfect..well made...sturdy..perfect sizing...lovely bright colour
