I've tried several other brands, including the Hobson, but nothing works nearly as well as this design. The 2 axes of motion are what make it unique - your pelvis moves more like a walking motion that the traditional no-yaw bicycle motion. I wouldn't be riding if it weren't for this seat. My only gripe was that the neoprene padding was a little thin for long rides- I added some extra. The new models have gel pads that I haven't tried.
