Remington R1 night sights.
They fit the r1 stainless rear very good and have a set screw. The front sight will fit but it requires filing to fit and purchasing loctite #609 retaining compound. The front sight does not have a set screw like the oem Remington front sight but the #609 loctite keeps it in place. The poi with these is much closer to poa than than the oem r1 sights.

Buyers beware: these do NOT fit the Remington R1 s advertised!!
These sites are clearly advertised as being model specific for the Remington R1 and they are NOT even close to fitting. They are non returnable due to shipping issues with the “corrosive chemicals” contained (I assume the tritium), but I find it interesting there were no issues with them shipping to me....I have asked the vendor to accept my return-hopefully they will make an exception.Update: as it turns out my R1 commander is different that the 5” version, so not sure if they fit a full size gun. Also, seller finally agreed to accept the return.....
