WOW, Definitely Not a Toy
I didn’t know what to expect for $40. I’ve been wanting one of these for years, but never got around to it. After some recent video reviews, I decided “why not?” And let me tell you, I am very impressed. The virtually non existent assembly instructions are terrible, so you’ll want to watch a setup video on YouTube if you can’t figure out which way the plastic pieces go or what the little rubber isolator pads are for - but for as low price as this is, the crappy instructions are not a deal breaker. Also note that there is a push button release mechanism on the handle that you have to depress in order to cock it (that’s not explained anywhere). And there is a safety switch that locks itself each time it’s cocked or the bow string pulled back and in the ready position, so after you cock it, load your bolt first, keep it in a safe direction and then release the safety switch.Stringing the bow was a little tricky by myself, so you’ll want to watch the YT video and probably have a friend help you. ALSO… this is NOT for children. I don’t know what the draw strength is - I’m pretty sure it’s not 80#, but it is still very effective and would certainly kill an animal at 30-40 yards or less - probably even further than that. It has quite the power for a tiny little crossbow pistol. If you were thinking to get this for a kid or child - DON’T do that. Depending on you kid, I’m thinking the minimum age would be 12-13 (depending on their maturity and training). You give one of these to a 9 year old and you’re going to have a dead dog or cat on your hands and or possibly a seriously injured or dead sibling. Definitely adult supervision required and not for children - I can’t stress that enough.Aside from that, this is an amazing little crossbow. I was considering to shoot this in the house, but it has so much power, it will completely sink the bolt into a foam archery target at 40 feet or less. So unless you want to break your bolts or bury them in the target, the range is probably more like 50-60 feet if you want to not destroy your bolts and or be able to get them out of the foam.Speaking of bolts, buy lots of extra PLASTIC ones. The aluminum ones are really nice, but if you hit a hard target (like a board or tree), they will break. Also, they’re super easy to lose (especially when trying to sight it in or adjust the sights on it) - you’ll loose them in the grass, I promise. On the topic of target accuracy, it was a little off (straight out of the box), but after a few adjustments, this thing is deadly accurate at 30-40 feet / 10-12 meters / 10-15 yards. I definitely recommend buying it - just be carful. It won’t just shoot your eye out or poke a hole - it will KILL you. So just be mindful of what you’re doing and treat it like a respectable tool as it was designed to be used and you’ll be fine. (No different than a power tool or table saw) - use common sense and don’t give to children unsupervised. With that said, buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

To the seller, please send an extra limb I will happily pay you for it. Let me know, thank you much
Great crossbow, powerful, accurate, and can be modified above and beyond original assembly.

Durable, accurate, inexpensive
Out of the box, I found that the only instructions are in vague, poorly translated English on the outside of the box. Luckily, it's not that complicated to assemble. Not complicated, but DIFFICULT. To stretch the string properly across the bow takes at least two people, one of whom needs to have fairly strong arm muscles, and the other needs quick manual dexterity to get the strings in the right position quickly. Once assembled, it's lightweight and solidly constructed. The instructions do not explain well at all how to load the bolt and fire. There is a latch that on the back of the stock, and a safety catch behind where the bolt will go, and both must be pressed before pulling the string back. After the string is cocked, slide the bolt as far back as it will go, before pushing the safety catch forward to deactivate it. The sight can be adjusted by horizontal and vertical thumbscrews which give audible clicks to help with adjusting. I found it to be surprisingly accurate up to a distance of about 30 feet. Longer distances will probably lose force and precision. So, for a short range projectile it is pretty reliable and it comes with three bolts. I am happy with my purchase.

Cheap and Dangerous
I ordered 3x of these for Xmas, one for myself of course. The Crossbows limbs come with guards that keep the string in place. After about 20 shots of the first crossbow one of the guard pieces during a shot COMPLETELY SHATTERED, sending bits of it flying everywhere, damaging and definitely could have taken an eye out. This product is cheap, and I will be returning all 3. It was great until that... If you do decide to buy, WEAR SAFETY GLASSES and expect the unexpected. In the pictures, the guard on the left is shattered, compared to the one on the right. For the seller, I at most expect the crossbow with the broken piece to have its guard replaced...

Impressed
This is a little bad boy! Be careful it shoot straight and it penetrates deep. Easy to cock. You can string it yourself but if you have a buddy it would be easier.
