Great case!
It's Pelican, what else do you have to say. Bought this for taking iPod camping. Got rained on a number of times now. Not a drop got in. Also helped with a few unexpected drops. Definitely recomend.

One of the best ways to protect your iPod!
Pelican for years has been making cases and other items for divers over the years. They make some of the world's strongest cases and this case is one of their best. This case holds the iPod classics, nanos, and shuffles(including the 2 Gen), nice and snug. The case also has a pocket in the lid for holding headphones. The case has a good tight seal to keep out liquids. The case says it is water resistant only, but I decided to place the case in a sink full of water(with out the ipod), and not a drop was found inside inside.

Pelican Needs to Hire Engineers
I could go on and on about the fit of this case for iPod Classics, but suffice to say it really stinks. I’ll just cross my fingers I never drop mine in water. I gave it 2 stars because I’m confident it would protect my iPod if it dropped.

Great Product Lighter Than Expected
I was pleasantly surprised when the pelican case arrived, and I found it to be significantly lighter than some of the reviews I had read made me believe.I ordered the case to protect a ipod nano 4th generation, and thought there would be a lot of extra room and it would be tossed around. However, the rubber insert inside does a good job of protecting the ipod. While a litter smaller on the inside than the pictures seem to make the case, i still think it would hold an iphone.I cannot say as to if the case is completely waterproof because i haven't gotten the case wet yet. I assume the case would protect the ipod if emerged in water because the seal is very tight.From some of the descriptions I was worried that the case might be hard to open, i was delighted to find that unsealing it and opening it is just as easy as sealing it.The headphone insert on the outside that allows you to listen to the ipod when closed works perfectly, as well as laying fairly flatly against the case.
