This harness and leash is AMAZING! Our 60 lbs black lab was having a hard time walking on his leash. He was always pulling and trying to overpower whoever was walking him. This system was recommended by our dog trainer and wow it did not disappoint! The instant that we started walking him with it, he stopped pulling. Even when he did decide to try pulling, the design of the collar made it possible for us to walk him without feeling the leash pulling. This is a great product and has made our walks with our lab so much more enjoyable.

I ordered this having seen a lot of people suggest it online. I have a 70lb puppy (we thought he was going to be about 20lbs smaller) and I am really not strong at all, and previously when walking him I would fear losing control of his pulling. Of course we are working on training for loose-leash walking; but again I am pretty weak. I just took him out for his first walk in this harness after fitting it and it is like night and day! Hooking the leash to both the chest and back gives an impressive amount of pull and force control. I didn’t think the harness would make THAT much of a difference. I also like that the belly band is a softer material as my doggo has sensitive skin.The fitting process is… a pain, especially if you have an energetic puppy. Obviously they know if you’re putting something like that on it means it is time for walkies, so the fitting is really wiggly and cumbersome. Once it is fitted there is really no hassle.We will have to see how long it lasts. I am a little bit worried that the material is too thin for durability but so far it seems fine. Overall I am SUPER pleased with the pulling control and will be recommending this to my friends and family!

This is a very high quality, durable product.I got the Large which was recommended for German Shepherd and the girth part just fits my dog, maybe 1/4-1/2 inch to spare. My GSD is 66#, brown/black so little bigger in the torso than some of the slimmer grey/black GSDs. So my dog is at the bottom of their scale of 60-85#. Be sure to measure the chest of your dog to get accurate sizing.It took a bit of getting used to as I like to keep a tighter control, so wish the leash was adjustable. Also wish it was adjustable to keep dog from stepping into the triangular loop created by one part hooked to chest and one to back. Fortunately, she knows how to step out of it but when I drop the leash to let her run a bit, I am always worried about it tripping her up. (I know, I know, unhook the leash part - that's a big nope with this pup, I need to know I can grab it quickly.)The handle part of the leash is fairly soft, but still strong. The leash is harsher webbing (for durability). However when you need to grab it quickly to get control of a reactive dog it can be rough on the hands - didn't burn like some webbing does, though, which is good.The buckles are nice and hefty and seem very secure. They only fit one way, so make sure the girth piece isn't twisted if you have an impatient hound.I can't say this is a no-pull "all the time, every time" but does slow my dog down and she is better at staying by my side (until another dog walks by, that is, but such is life with a reactionary).Would I recommend it? Yes, overall, the quality is good.

Please note, I don't give out 5 stars easily, but this product is well deserving. This is the 3rd time I've purchased the Freedom No Pull Harness and Leash. It fits very comfortably on my dog, doesn't chafe my dog under his legs, also easy to put on and remove. We enjoy our walks due to it's reinforcement of no pulling well beyond my dog's training, and it is very stylish.

I have a 13mo 80lb Great Pyr who has gotten so strong in the past year. Despite formal training, our walks became a battle due to her curiosity & strength. This harness is a dream! She can't muscle walk me anymore! lol She seems happy & comfortable going on long walks. Size Large fits her perfectly right now. Buy this harness, you won't regret it!

This is my second one--my dog outgrew the first one. He has never pulled out of it. I like that it has the comfort parts under his arms. It's super easy to put on and take off. If I use both hook loops I can keep him from pulling, but I usually just hook it in the back.The leash with the hooks at both ends are handy. It allows me to extend the length of the leash, by hooking another 6 foot leash for open field walking.The adjustments look intimidating, but just make small adjustments over and over and you'll get it.The attached images: The purple one became too small, so we ordered the blue one.

I hav used this harness thru 4 boxers. Had only one break by 70lb boxer & they made nxt one w extra stitching ( & all that follow) at no cost. Great service, great product, just bought 2 more f newly adopted hound.

Three minutes unattended and who walks by me.... you Logan! (My dog)“What the......”????That’s twice now...Otherwise they’re great for no pull!!
