Great crimper for regular use
Great product. I use it for work on general aviation aircraft. Produces a tight, strong, and durable crimp. Great value!

Damages Heat shrink terminals
I am a professional marine electrician, I have used many different brands of terminal crimp tools. I was excited by the price and the construction of this tool however it is more or less useless with heat shrink terminals. I would have returned this product if I had not missed the return window, i will most likely throw away the tool as I cannot get it to work. The dies are just a poor design. To be fair I did try this with three different brands of heat shrink terminals, the result was the same with all three, the heat shrink get punctured making a a water tight seal impossible.

good budget ratcheting crimpers
a little bulky but makes great crimps on insulated connectors. I purchased it with a bunch of shrink wrap insulated connectors for automotive electrical.
