ILLUMISHIELD Screen Protector Compatible with Microsoft Lumia 640 (3-Pack) Clear HD Shield Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint PET Film

I love IllumiShields, they are the best screen protector made. I had them on my Nokia (lumia) 520 and 521, fit perfectly and worked great. Have them on Iphone 5, works great.However...on the brand-new Microsoft Lumia model 640, they are a bit small. Actually they're short enough from the edge where you can see almost 1/4" of glass between the shield and where the phone glass ends. I sent an inquiry, the company responded and I sent photos (that's great customer service by the way). They emailed this response: "Our design team (have informed me that they) had to cut down the design around the edges due to the bezel around the display. Unfortunately, the leeway has to be provided as it is easier to apply this way and the shields will last a lot longer as well." It's great they went to the design team with this issue, but this doesn't fit nearly as nice as the 3 other models I've used from them and I have to assume it's because the Lumia 640 is new. Hopefully in the near future they'll cut it closer to the edge, I can't imagine there's that much difference in the manufacturing process of Lumia 640 gorilla glass where they have to allow so much gap. I put it on my phone because I wanted some protection even though the 640 uses gorilla glass 3. The fit issue aside, illumishield's are the best out there for phone glass protection. You decide if you want to wait for the spec's to get a bit closer or go with the current product. Photos included for your info.

This is my favorite screen protector brand after I discovered it a few years ago. It's very easy to put on, super clear, and durable. The quality of the protector itself is still excellent, however quality control in other areas has dropped a little. Firstly, the cut for the Lumia 640 is a few millimeters too short from top to bottom. Secondly, either the handling or delivery has been a bit rough on the item's cardboard packaging. By the time this item was delivered, the packaging was bent in such a way that it caused damage to all 3 (yes all 3) screen protectors inside the packaging. Fortunately I was able to order a free replacement. All in all, this is still an excellent screen protector brand that I will continue to purchase.

I used iLLumiShield on my Android phones and iPhones. They were so good: smooth and well cut. The best protector in the market ever! So i bought it again for my new Lumia 640. This time it disappointed me: much smaller than the actual screen. It leaves a huge blank space on the edge of screen! Unless you use a case on phone, the blank space seems so ugly.

Have used these protectors on four phones previous to the Lumia 640. They are fantastic. Two yrs on one phone and still going strong. The new one for the 640 is slightly smaller than the outside edge. About a 16th of an inch all the way around. I personally found this helpful when attaching to the phone. Was able to get it right on the first time. The previous ones were cut so close, it was really difficult to get them right. Also, when I put my case on, it overlaps slightly and just about covers the edge of the protector. Glad I got these again.

Three in the container. First one, the Remove Me sticker tore away even though I handled it gently. Second one peeled properly, but even with a spotlessly clean phone, did not adhere on one side. The third one, the Remove Me sticker peeled away cleanly, but did not take the backing sheet with it. The backing sheets for both the ones with the Remove Me sticker problem seem fused to the screen protector, as if maybe they baked in some hot stock room for a long time.I have a lot of experience installing screen protectors so it is not my being clumsy. This is, simply, a poor product, or was sent from damaged stock. For the price, it is not worth time on the phone with Amazon. I suggest getting something different.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered from this company. The first time was for Shields for a different phone. They are super easy to put on, and they last and last! I didn't replace the first one I ever put on my first phone for over 2 years! Awesome! It came super quick so I was able to put it on my new phone the same day I received my new phone! Keep up the great work!

Great company but they got it wrong this time. These screen protectors are way under cut for the Lumia 640. They aren't even close. I traded some emails with them and they sent me a new set and they were worse than the first. After two days the protector starts to peel off at the camera lens. I have used these screen protectors plenty of times before and they were always great, this time they are not. Look else were for your Lumia 640.

The best screen protectors I have used. Bubble free and very clear. Gave it 4 stars this time because one of the pull tabs was stuck to the protector on one of the 3 protectors in the package. I chalk that up as an anomaly for this brand. Would not hesitate to order this again!
