I've owned it for almost a year now and have nothing but stellar remarks for it. The actual blade is the perfect size for me as a camping blade or a general work knife. The scandi grind is great with no secondary bevel. It takes me quite a while to even take a slight amount of the edge off. I can literally run it across a diamond rod 3 times and its like a razor again. I'm a mora owner and the saker takes and holds an edge better in my usage. I think some people get kind of anal about where the knife is made and that factors into their rating which I don't agree with. You know where the knife is made before you buy it. The performance of the knife is excellent, regardless if its made in Taiwan or wherever. I like American made products simply for the fact that it employs Americans. The handle is contoured to my hand perfectly and very comfortable. The sheath is a nice rigid leather with thick stitching that takes a while to break in. The sheath retention is good as well. I would recommend putting a 4 inch piece of duck tape on the inside of the sheath on the side of the belt loop because this knife has an aggressive point which is very useful but will scratch up the inside of your sheath pretty good. The blade Also has a sharp 90 degree spine. The little "bushcraft" tool it comes with isnt really worth much but it's free so no complaints. I have batoned through logs with knots numerous times, cut up food, used in the garden ect and have yet to get a single nic in the blade. The guy saying the entire blade rolled, I'm sorry I just don't buy it.
