Revoltech SciFi : No.016 Alien Warrior

This is the best of the three Revoltech Aliens I have. This guy is detailed as hell, Has holes in his heels so he can stand up erect on the base, and you can make his tail stand up behind because of this. You don't need the tail for balance. He stands next to the egg, ( The egg is creepy too, with all the slimy vines all around it.) Not for kids, (small parts). Very menacing looking. My only complaint would be that these guys are just too short. About 7'' erect. But I guess they wouldn't fit on my library shelf if they were taller. Another bad bit is that everyone who see's them, wants to handle them.

This is the first alien figure/model I ever owned. The reason I added the "model" is because it is smaller then the picture makes it look (I knew what the size would be I'm just giving a heads up) It's about 5 inches or so. The reason it's five stars is because I do love it and looks amazing. But that doesn't mean it's perfect. Some of the joints are "sticky" (most likely because it was in that position since it was packaged.) The alien is somewhat see-through, when you shine a light at it you can see the light but it's dim and looks "murky" inside. the egg is also somewhat see-through. And to the "problems" some of the Revoltech joints are loose a bit which isn't a big problem because it can hold the position fairly well. And the head comes off easily put putting it in is simple. The inner jaw could be longer too, but oh-well. Over all the figure is great but if you order it and open it, be careful of the joints. I would suggest carefully taking off the joints of the limbs and dip the ends in water and putting them back in to keep it loose. Only once or twice is good then once you start moving them they should be fine.

I just got this today; it arrived in a very timely manor--I actually expected it Wednesday, so it came as an early surprise. Opening the figure, I was mildly shocked to see how small it was. The pictures make it out to be much larger, but in reality, it's maybe 6" tall. I should have read the other reviews which make a note of this, but I also feel that its size should be in the product description. The character comes with an unopened facehugger egg, a stand, and a little "Warrior Alien" plaque. It all fits together quite well, though I wish the base had more room on it to pose the Xeno's feat. I think it would be hard to get the Xeno to stand without the stand, but I haven't really tried. Its feat are pretty small though. The Xeno is sculpted almost perfectly from the show, but there are a few flaws, most notable in that it only has three fingers instead of six. The oddities on the forearms are also not present in the old movies, but the toy comes with other arms that can be subbed in. The spike on the end of the tail also seems somewhat off, though I haven't exactly verified if it's movie perfect or not. The coloring is also something worth noting. The creature, in full light, is more brown and translucent than blue/black and opaque. Once you get it in the dark though, it turns into the correct color and has the sort of drippy/slimy sheen that is to be expected. It's very pose-able, though the joints feel flimsy. I wouldn't say they are flimsy, but they feel that way, and after spending so much on this figure, I'd rather not risk anything. I really do like it though, and I have it on my bookshelf near my scifi books (which include the Dark Horse Alien novels). It looks very menacing there, yet oddly cute due to its small stature. I feel like I need to buy a Predator for it to fight now.

Revoltech quality meets Aliens to make the perfect baby. All joints are firm, socket-based that can be pulled off with ease (if necessary). The package itself was beautiful (despite being in Japanese/unreadable) and is perfect for display inside the box. It comes with an awesome display stand with an Alien egg. I can't get over the amount of detail put into this figure. It's translucent on all appendages with incredible care of sculpting every detail right down to the supplemental back spike (that was later removed in future variants of the creature). I'm a huge Alien fan and collector. I would probably rate this as the BEST Aliens toy I've ever had the privilege to own. I own several others, including some 8" NECA figures and the Alien Micromen figures from AVP. The pictures here are straight from the package, but don't be fooled. The toy's size is literally 5" tall or so. It comes with 2 different sets hands for different stances. I'd highly recommend this toy to anyone looking for a high-quality product that's relatively inexpensive and perfect for display in or out of the package.

This little bug is gorgeous. I've been an Alien fan for a long time and have been waiting for figures like these to show up. And of course we get a stunning rendition like this from Japan. Whoever is responsible for having this figure produces has my thanks. The little Beastie certainly looks the part...very much patterned after the warrior bugs in the aliens movie. He looks great. They've molded him in a translucent metallic blue black color that sort of glistens when the light hits it right. The effect, at least to me is very well done. He also comes with a nice base, an egg, an extra pair of claws, a nameplate and a box to keep the spare claws. As for the articulation of the fig...he's a bit stiff at first...then gets a bit loose...maybe too loose. But..what can ya do. Just don't force his joints or they will break. In summary...if you like the Alien bugs in any way whatsoever...get one of these. Although a little pricey...well worth every penny.

pictures make figure look much bigger. disappointed in how small figure is. sculpt is great but it's too tiny. i was expecting something more like the mcfarlane 12 inch. not happy

The figure I got is not as translucent as the photograph suggested. Also, the figure is too too small.. it did not look nice being that small. The plastic is kind of good, but articulation are very to floopy Looks kind of nice in the photo but... I just.. did not like! AT ALL

One of the best alien toys I have seen on the internet. It comes with a egg and a stand. The toy is very detailed and pretty tough. A bunch of the parts come off. It does come apart fairly easily. It has a great ball joint on its neck to attach the head. It is super pose able and the tail bends nicely. Great toy.

リボルテックNo.001のALIEN(以後001と記します)も素晴らしい出来でしたが、このWARIIORは可動フィギュアとしては更に進歩しています。 001では可動粋が狭く殆ど後方にそらせなかった首と頭部が、今回は背中の突起を可動式にし、頭部と首の関節にダブルジョイントを採用した為にかなり反らせる様に為り、突起を取り外すと後頭部が背中にほぼ着く程の可動域となりました。 この頸部のダブルジョイントは、ALIENがカクカクと首を突き出す動きが生々しい薄気味悪さを醸し出し、実に良いアイデアだと思いました。 後、口も大きく開く様になり、より獰猛な感じとなりました。 残念なのはギミックのインナーマウスが今回も実写程派手に飛び出さず、001より口内の固定が強くなり、口を開けただけでは飛び出さず、指で引っ張り出す必要が有った事位でしょうか。 これは逆に口を開けた途端にダラリとインナーマウスが出てきてしまうよりは良いかもしれません。 頭部パーツの着脱が省略されたのは、動かして遊ぶ時に外れない為、可動フィギュアとしてはプラスだと思います。 後、各パーツも001と比べて見た所、微妙にデザインが変わっていて、少し位使い廻しが有るかと思いきやわざわざ全て新造形してありました。まったくもってご苦労な事です。 オマケのエッグのグロテスクな造形と色彩はちょっと触るのが躊躇われる程。 ALIEN好きの方には文句無しにお薦めです。動かして遊ぶ時の満足度は確実にアップしています。

まず尻尾が気に入りました、 あとセビレ？ みたいなものがとれて四本足で歩けるから、お気に入りです。 あとビッグチャップと ウォーリアー どっちに、するか迷っているなら僕はこっちを、おすすめします。 エイリアンエッグがとてもリアル、透き通ってる感じが良い。 良い点 体のほとんどの部分可動する 尻尾がすっご動く、 頭が自由に動く、 インナーマウスが、リアル 悪い点 体の接合部分が少し渋いので、取り扱いに注意してください 台座にはめにくい

エイリアンが好きで購入しました。 映画のウォーリアーより 若干青みがかっていますが こっちの色の方がかっこいいと思う。 機械のような爬虫類のような 独特の質感も上手く表現されていると思います。 001のエイリアンと比べると 首の可動領域が広がったり、 手やジオラマなどオプションが増えたりしています。 首の可動領域が広がったのはうれしいですね。 001の方は頭を後ろに最大まで曲げても ちょっと下を向いてる感じでしたが このウォーリアーはしっかり前を向いてくれます。 ここまでだったら文句なしの☆５だったんですが 尻尾にちょっと赤い塗装がついてたんで☆をひとつ減らしました。 塗装の問題はあったものの クオリティはかなり高い。 エイリアン好きなら買って損はないです。 こちらの方がよく動くので ００１と迷ったらこちらの方を 買った方がいいと思います。 結構再販されてるみたいなので もし品切れだったら ちょっと待ってみるといいかと思います。

特撮リボルテックのマニアックなこだわりには、毎回サプライズです。 エイリアンだけでも、初代、このウォーリアー、そしてクイーンまで３種もリリース。 個人的にはクイーンは必要ないかなぁと思いますが、 このウォーリアーは、実にカッコイイですね。 手に取ってみると、そのごつごつしたフォルムに魅力が増してきます。 ボクもできれば、数体買って整列させたいです！！ リボシリーズのエイリアンは、クイーンまでにしましょうね。 やりすぎちゃったエイリアン４のハーフ型まではNGだと思いますので…。 次回は、プレちゃんをぜひよろしく！！

造型や可動範囲には文句無いのですが、何故全身半スケルトンにしたのでしょう？。 エイリアンには半透明なんて設定無いですよｗ飾った時に光があたる部分が透けてしまうので ジョイント部(関節の軸やら)が丸見えになり見栄えが悪くなります。 メタリック塗装のままで良かった筈。半透明にする事でディテールが台無しになってますね。 何で日本ではスケルトン流行るのか意味不明です。 それと内顎の造りが雑過ぎますね。
