Getting the job done with a kid who could not care less about cursive!
I'm using this to teach cursive handwriting to an 8th grader. It's late for cursive, I know, but better late than never! This is great for any student just learning or for practice. Recommended ages are grade 3 and up. It works well for an older student because it's not too childish. Each daily lesson is about ½ a page. The book is consumable and you write in the book. There is a model and the student copies it. Simple. Painless.Getting the job done with a kid who could not care less about cursive!

Good practical resource
This book is a good resource for practicing handwriting. I would recommend. The only thing I didn't like about this book is that the pages are pre-assigned to days of the week. If this doesn't match up with your lesson plans, then you're either reworking the pages or confusing your students.

So easy and quick to pick up
Being almost 30 and not able to read or write in script was embarrassing! But after starting and finishing this book, my students tell me all the time how beautiful I write. Its fast and easy. Good for anyone, any age really!

Used as a text in some classrooms.
This is used in classrooms. I bought it to help my 11 year old son with his terrible handwriting. I was disappointed to learn that cursive is now being dropped from schools but I want my son to have the ability to read and write in cursive with no problems. This book has tear out sheets that have ample space for writing. The book is large and the paper is a good quality.

I loke it thoig
My son gets mad if its not on the right day so it would be nice if it didnt have the day of the week on it.

For older kids: Writing area too small for younger kids.
I like the book but it does not have directional arrows for the beginner to learn. Also writing area too small for younger children who are still developing motor skills. This is probably best for an older child.

Good
This really helped my 8 year old son who wasn't getting the support he needed at school for his illegible handwriting.5 minutes a day and the difference is amazing!Little and often is what it takes and this book makes it easy for the busy parent to provide regular support.

Great for practice
My son's handwriting was a bit messy, and unfortunately I did not get any support from his school in trying to address this matter. I bought this book and got him to practice each night and so far his handwriting has improved.
