Mine fell apart. Sent Sabre company a message and I followed their return instructions - took a picture sent in, after approval I sent back to them (they paid postage) and they sent me a new one. Had worked fine ever since.

I actually had to use this on somebody yesterday and it worked perfectly. I was able to mace somebody with this from like 8 feet away. It sprayed super fast and hard, like a jet stream. It stopped him in his tracks and I was able to get away safely. There was more than enough pepper spray inside to I do the job. Best part? I didn’t get any on me, not even on my hand!!!! The outside of it didn’t get any of the pepper spray on it. You can clip it to your bag or easily conceal this in it or put it in your pocket. The safety part won’t cause it to spray in your purse. I had it in my big purse full of other things for months and it never leaked out. As advertised, it comes with a window breaker and a seat belt cutter. I love this product and I just ordered a replacement. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere without it. If you’re looking for what I just described here, get this one. It will keep you safe.

Looks good and is functional. Great to have incase of emergency.

This makes me feel safer when I’m out alone. Size is small enough to carry easily. The clip is strong and attaches to keys. I like that it’s gel instead of spray for better control. Haven’t had to use it, but it gives peace of mind. Seems well built and reliable. Important little tool. Worth having for securty.

I bought this for self defense and ended up using it to ward away wasps in my eaves , and my overhangs outside my windows. It is a natural irritant.They keep trying to come back to it.But won't because of the irritating properties. It has been a while now and they still have not come back.I give it ten out of ten.

Well worth the money

I’ve never had to use these and I appreciate that they come with a glass breaker and seatbelt cutter which is great for peace of mind. HOWEVER, I have had to throw several away and am looking for a different option because the trigger(?) falls out on its own without force, just from sitting in your bag or pocket. Sometimes it’s disappeared altogether but other times it presents a concern in an emergency situation if it had to be put back in or finagled to sit right again. I have rebought this about four times both from amazon and directly from the manufacturer because I like the features and at first I thought it was a fluke or a defective single item but it’s a pretty consistent problem and a pretty major safety concern. Pepper spray can fail or go off for several reasons, it’s ridiculous that it should fail for something as silly as bad design in the mechanical/plastic components.
