While the sports lid /straw worked it was not ideal for us as it airated the water. HOWEVER with the normal lid this was an exceptional bottle.It has kept cool drinks cool and when hubby had to go out on site with only ten minutes notice it kept his coffee hot not warm ... but hot.We also found that unlike other bottles which hold the smell of coffee in them after washing, this bottle did not hold any smells, which was a delight for me ! .. I had put cold water from the fridge in it in the morning and even though we were in a hot car for 5 hours for our journey the water was still cool to drink. It comes with 2 screw on tops. One of the tops seals the water in completely. The one with a straw(you get 2 straws with this) is not leakproof, so it must be kept upright at all times. The flask is also very lightweight. I have been taking it on my daily dog walks and lovely to have cold water for both me and my dog.
