Estranged #2: The Changeling King

Our family loved the first Estranged book, and eagerly anticipated this new book. It did not disappoint! The art and the story are fantastic, stayed up late reading it with my 11 year old son the day it arrived, and he has already read it twice more, as well as some re-reads of the first Estranged. Our fingers and toes are crossed that a third book will happen... but while we wait, we are having great conversations and hypothesis about what the characters might do next.

With books sometimes a sequel disappoints. I’m happy to say this one did not. :-).Once again interesting plot, great artwork, and he really delved into the characters. Yet another good buy

THE CHANGELING KING is the perfect follow-up story to ESTRANGED and brings every bit of great artwork and amazing storytelling to the pages that were present in the first story. Too often, comics artists choose a great story OR compelling artwork. Aldridge doesn't sacrifice either one in his graphic novel! You won't regret reading this one-- I know I didn't.

I am a Librarian and I purchased this book on a whim for one of my boys. I will be purchasing more for my library soon! Great series.

I love how the book arrived early. I originally read this book when I borrowed it from my local library and I'm really happy to own the Estranged book series. Ethan M. Alderidge is an amazing writer and I can't wait to see what other stories he shares.

A great sequel. All your favorite characters are back plus some charming new ones. Every page is just beautiful. Highly recommend!

Liked the art. Enjoyable. Gave it a 4 because it is not quite as good as the caliber of Bone.

I read this book to my 5th graders this year, book 1 and 2. They loved it. I can not wait for book 3. Great series.
