Pink Yarn Yoshi Amiibo - Japan Import (Yoshi's Woolly World Series)

I actually have 3 of these yarn amiibo. Two green yarn Yoshi's and one Blue one. They have a variety of uses. If you have Yoshi's Wooly World you can use the amiibo in any level to add a second Yoshi and control both at the same time. But honestly, the second Yoshi gets in the way of your play more than helping. The other use in Wooly World is to just use a different colored Yoshi before you beat the game. When you first start the game you only have red and green Yoshi to play with. There are others you unlock as you complete levels but you do not get the full spectrum of traditional green, blue, light blue, purple, red, orange, yellow, black, and white Yoshis until you beat the whole game. So if you want to play with blue or pink Yoshi I recommend getting those colors instead. My daughter basically took my blue and green yarn Yoshis because they're really cute and she's 3 so I bought another green one for myself because as they're made of yarn, they will start pilling and fraying if a kid plays with them. It won't affect their use as amiibo but I wanted mine to be a nice little decoration for my desk as well as an amiibo. You can use these amiibo on the Switch as well. I have Yoshi's wooly world and I loaded up the blue and green Yoshi amiibo and then they're available as costumes for your Yoshi in that game with the same level of protection you get from extremely rare costumes in the game. Once loaded they stay loaded. In Wooly World they stay loaded but you're only able to change Yoshi colors which becomes unnecessary once you beat the game. At this point you just need the amiibo present with you if you want to play with two Yoshis in a stage at once because that's the only way to add a second Yoshi in a level - to tap an amiibo while you're in the level. I'm unsure what other games you can use with these amibo but I really like it just as a little plush. They're really cute and Yoshi's Wooly World is such a good game that it's worth getting a Wii U in 2022 just to play that game (Nintendo has announced that they will not be porting any more games from WiiU to Switch officially so do not wait if you want this game). But otherwise this amiibo will work on Switch too but besides Yoshi's Crafted World I'm unsure which other games are compatible. Mario 3D World and Bower's Fury may be good candidates as I've seen Yoshi as a playable character in those games. Amyway, this is really well made, cute, they look hand crafted and each one is slightly unique in the way they were crocheted.

Finally got my hand on the light blue version. He was sold out in all of the places that I went to, even at the Tokyo Otaku Mode website. Lucky, It was able to find one from the seller that sold one at lower price (if you compare to the U.S. version and include the sale tax). Plus, I got the free two-days shipping for it (one of an advantages for being a prime member). It arrived in one piece with perfect condition. It's Japan imported but it's not region locked. So it will work in the U.S game systems. He might be small than what people thought he would be but he is what he is (standing 3 inch tall). Actually, the size is what makes him so cute. The detail on it is perfect - I love material. It gives him a presence of a baby toy that you want to treasure him, with care and want to keep it forever. However, he will not stay in the package for long as I will have to let him out and get him expose to the air soon... I love this little guy and I have no regret on getting him. This is a must have in your collections. Get it soon, while it's still here and at a reasonable price.

The yarn Yoshi amiibo are meant to work with Yoshi's Woolly World for Wii U, and while the game is not out yet in the USA (I plan to get it day 1), I decided to import both the Pink and Blue Yoshis to avoid attempting to get them in store. The yarn amiibo are very interesting, and are quite cute. They're much slouchier in real life than they are in the prototype photo, and definitely smaller than you would expect them to be. They are standard amiibo size, but it was still a surprise to see them fit neatly in the palm of your hand. They're a woolly, yarn texture and pretty fun to hold and squish. The materials that the Yoshis are made of is not hand knitted, but if you have ever knit or crochet you should be able to tell that from the photos. They are machine knit fabric, sewn like a stuffed animal. Obviously this is the easy production way to go, and it doesn't change how I feel about the toy, but I figured I'd throw that knowledge out there to everyone. Over all, I quite like the Woolly amiibo, and plan to get Green with the game. They're very cute next to the other amiibo, making a unique part of my few that I've collected.

I purchased this Yoshi amiibo for my collection I wanted to have it boxed to keep ot for year and eventuaply for it to be a cherished item of my collection. With the box damage I have to take it out of box, so it's similar to have it unboxed wrapped in good condition. The box itself wasnt damaged but the amiibo was second hand which is not fair.

I imported this from Japan via Amazon Marketplace before Yoshi's Woolly World and the corresponding amiibo arrive in the US. For those curious about the height of the figure/plush, it stands about 3 inches tall. The detail of the amiibo is astounding. The eyes, rather than being painted on, are embroidered. It has a cute little tushtag that reads Yoshi in the color matching the body (so mine was blue). There also a loop on the Yarn Yoshi's head, presumably to slip a ball-chain through (or, I suppose, a really thin carabiner). The NFC chip is housed on the bottom of the plush within a little patch the has the same "amiibo" mark and Nintendo logo as the traditional amiibo. The quality of the plush, on the whole, is just fine. The seams look fine and the embroidery around the eyes is nice and clean. My one minor issue is that stitching around Yoshi's back-shell puckers a little bit at the bottom edges but I don't think that effects the integrity of the plush at all.

Good quality, not opened or damaged. The amiibo works perfectly.

Sólo para decoración ya vale la pena, a demás al ser blanditos mi hija puede interactuar con ellos. COmpré los 3 colores. Tambien tiene un codigo amiboo con el interactuar en algunos juegos.

Llego sin detalle alguno el yoshi y hasta parece recien hecho, muy buena compra y mas si te gusta coleccionarlo o para algún regalo. La textura del amiibo es suavecita y es de los mejores amiibos .
