Chicken Bark - All Natural Chicken Jerky Dog and Puppy Treats, No fillers, Responsibly Sourced and Made in the USA

Roo Bark is to kangaroo jerky what Pringles are to potato chips. The kangaroo meat has been ground up and then pressed into strips. I find this product superior to traditional kangaroo jerky in every way but one. 1. No thick or very sharp edges, so no waste. With traditional kangaroo jerky, there is always a little (sometimes a lot) that I throw away because I am worried that my tiny dog will choke or cut her mouth. No worries with this product, which is also very easy to break into pieces. 2. No big globs of fat on some pieces, so again less waste and easier/cleaner to use. 3. Dog loves it almost as much as regular kangaroo jerky. The only downside for me is that I am mildly dubious about the 100% kangaroo claim. How do they get it all to stick together without something extra? (I also feel a little bad that I don't get the multiple pirouettes when this bag comes out like I used to get with real kangaroo jerky.) The reason I tried this product in the first place is that my last bag of real kangaroo jerky arrived with live bugs in it, so I am giving that brand a pass for a while. I will say I, my pocketbook, and my little fur ball are happy with Roo Bark. We've gone through one bag in a month and are reordering.

I have a pup that is a very picky eater, and I have bought so many different kids of treats trying to find something she will eat. I found that she loved chicken jerky and at the time I was buying the less expensive versions until I read the back found that many of those are NOT at all natural and some were even radiated to get the jerky texture. Radiation of course worried me and then I talked with my vet who immediately advised me to stop using it. So it was great when my local pet store owners showed me these. They are all natural, I could eat them if I wanted! and that makes me happy that I know my pup can have something she loves with out having to worry about it damaging her health. I have also read many reviews on here talking about the price. For what you are getting the price is really great. If you tried to make this at home in a dehydrator it would cost you much more money and a lot more time. so this is a great all natural treat, I can not rave enough about it!

This is a terrific treat/reward for my dogs, and helpful in getting them to take their medicine. They love it and I like it because there is only 1 ingredient: 100% pork bacon, sourced and made in the USA. No additives, no preservatives, no by-products. It is dried so a bit like a jerky only not as thick or hard. The product is a bit pricey but the quality is excellent. I have been purchasing this product for about two years.

My two little terrier-mixes are big fans of these jerky treats; not only are these treats healthy with no bad filler ingredients, but also thin enough to break into smaller pieces, which makes it easier for my smallest dog to eat (and it also makes the bag last longer if I can ration them out in smaller pieces as well).

This comes in an easy-to-open bag with thin (almost paper thin) slices of easy to 'treat' chicken. My Havanese loves these broken into small pieces, which is very easy and makes this small bag last a long time. Any dust can easily be sprinkled over food. It really does not matter how much it weighs as it is a lot of quality dehydrated chicken, and one only needs small 'treats' for their dog. A dog just wants quality (what a dog likes), not quantity, unlike people. A treat is a treat. I highly recommend this as a dog treat or reward and broken up (which is easy) and to have a dog eat his meal if he is picky by sprinkling some on his food, I will buy more (and did), and I hope this helps someone and their dog.

This is the only treat my dog has been crazy for. Buddy Liver Snaps are ok, but she is giddy for Beef Bark. It is expensive so I only give some for doing her thing outside, but the spoiled little girl will get them. I have very arthritic hands so sometimes they are hard to break, but I can usually get it. When I get to the bottom of the bag I just make a show of dumping what’s left into a bowl. She is thrilled with that, too.

OK, this should be a no-brainer. Seems like a good product. Seems like a good company. Dogs love bacon flavor. Right? However, even given that my poodle is picky eater, he won't touch these. He loves bacon, he loves pork jerky; why won't he eat these Bacon Barks, even when he is very hungry? He's not talking. I certainly won't buy more. So, for new buyers, just in case your pup is also not totally a food hound, I wouldn't buy in bulk before you try it.

My rescue dog loves Beef Bark. Since we got her we have bought all types of cookies and snacks. I spent money at the specialty dog stores on all different types of (expensive) treats. She will only eat Beef Bark. She goes nuts for it. I am almost tempted to take a teeny bite to taste it. I have thrown away all my other snacks for her because she buries them anyway in her blanket. What I love is that Beef Bark is all natural. What my dog loves is that it tastes yummy!!!
