Edit- April 21, 2020;I’ve had these for almost a year now and I’m baffled by those who say these have dramatic shrinkage. I wash these in cold water and air dry when I can, but my husband often does laundry and he tosses them in the dryer on high heat with everything else. Yet these still fit me despite the fact that I’ve gained 20 pounds (corticosteroids suck). They still barely graze the ground, and are still baggy in the legs. However they are more snug around my stomach and butt than I’d prefer, but that’s due to me growing, not the pants shrinking.Original review;I ordered a medium, because I’m 5’4 and my ever fluctuating weight is currently 140. You can see by the pictures that they are fairly baggy on me. The length just grazed the ground when I wore sneakers. From the reviews, I knew that there was a chance that medium could be too big, but knowing that baggy is more forgiving than tight, I took the chance. But I was conservative with my purchase and just ordered one pair so I could gauge the size. (I want ALL of the cute prints!)I’ve been looking for cute print poplin pants for a long time, and I was overjoyed when I discovered that Amazon carried them at such an affordable price! The Amazon Essentials Poplin Pajama Pants are the cutest and most affordable ones on Amazon! They are very reminiscent (style wise, they are close to identical!) to my favorite Old Navy poplin pajama pants. These are my new favorites. The prints are gorgeous! I can’t wait to buy more! The only way they could be more perfect is for them to have pockets. But that’s not enough of a deficit for me to deduct a star, as I seriously adore these!I discovered a long time ago that poplin pants are just as cool and cute as linen pants, but usually much more affordable. The trick is to find cute prints as opposed to stripes or plaids which will always look like pajamas no matter what you wear them with.These pants are perfect for summer! Especially on days when you will be transitioning a lot from outdoors to inside where it’s cool and air conditioned, or knowing you will be out until evening, but won’t have a chance to change into something warmer. The fabric is smooth and cool so you don’t get too hot, but covers your legs completely so you don’t get too cool. I packed mine to take to a family camp in mid June in Oregon when the weather ranges from low 60s to high 80s. They were perfect! I couldn’t have been more comfortable! They even held up beautifully when my husband and I went on a hike and climbed down a cliff to get to a creek.And one last thing I have to get off my chest... It kills me when I read the reviews complaining that these are “not a soft cotton”. Obviously these people didn’t have any idea what poplin was before they ordered them. Lack of knowledge on the customer’s part is not a defect of the product and leaving a negative review as a result shows that they are irresponsible consumers.If you’re looking for poplin pants, look no further! Buy these, you won’t regret it.

I'm 5'2" & 125 lbs. I ALWAYS wear a MEDIUM and most reviews said true to size, but these are BIG. I EVEN double checked tag to be sure it was a medium. I immediately washed them in SUPER HOT CYCLE and HIGH HEAT DRY. They are still pretty big, but did shrink ENOUGH to wear. Love poplin, bc it's breathable for Savannah's hot & humid temps. They were fairly stiff until I washed them, but that's what poplin does. They are comfy after some fabric softener and will continue to soften with each wash. I'll be keeping this pair, instead of returning for a small... mostly bc I'm hoping they will keep shrinking in hot water wash until they are perfect, then I'll wash in cold. If not, next time I will get the small. Oh, if you are short like me, you'll want to roll the waist band a couple times. Would recommend.

Very comfortable fabric. Wanted cotton or cotton blend and these are nicely made. Well cut - not too slim. True to size (I ordered Large). Roomy enough to be comfy but not oversized. A bit long but they’re fine as I’m never barefoot. Comfy waistband. I knew they didn’t have pockets and that would be the only improvement I could suggest, but they’re a good value and have washed/dried nicely several times with zero shrinking. I also know pockets would add more bulk and change how they feel, so maybe they’re perfect it’s no pockets. I think they’re a good value. Would buy again, and in fact ordered a third one for convenience.

It's 100% cotton, so there's no stretch, but it's a relaxed fit. The elastic is very comfortable. I want to live in these. I hemmed them because I'm 5'3", so they were a bit long on me.

I’ve been looking for cool cotton poplin for ages. Those so-called breathable wicking fabrics are awful. This is the only pair I’ve been able to find. The patterns are cute and they wash and dry well. They are long enough (usually pjs are too short). The waist is just a little wide, which I normally prefer, but in this case they just sort of come loose while I’m sleeping! Maybe the elastic isn’t stretchy enough. Overall, I’m glad I found them.

Love these PJ bottoms, poplin fabric is crisp but soft, and lightweight. Gets softer with every wash! Had a pair from Hanna Andersson that I've worn out, was sad when I saw they didn't sell them anymore at HA, but Amazon to the rescue at a much better price! Only thing I don't love is the absence of pockets.... they need pockets for tissues, etc. I would say they run a bit large if anything. I normally wear a small and ordered small. Medium would probably be way to big though. I'm 5'5" and length fits, a hair long which is how I like it. Love the plaid print for pjs.

Needed some thin pj trousers for holiday abroad. Man I wish I had bought these years ago. Very thin poplin cotton, in the current heatwave it was like instant relief.I am a size 10, got the S - fit perfectly no tightness on waist or legs. I love them

Finalmente un pantalone da pigiama per donna che va bene in tutti i sensi. Cotone fresco, stoffa morbida, allaccio in vita regolabile, giusta larghezza da renderlo comodo, cuciture solide, lavaggio semplice, prezzo contenuto in rapporto alla qualità. Credo che un articolo simile sia difficile da trovare. Mi auguro che Amazon continui a proporlo con queste caratteristiche per molto tempo.
