Is there a way to control the brightness? I want to dim the light as I find this to be too bright for indoors lighting.

You have full control using rgb mode. So you could set red green and blue to 10,and it would be a continuous dim light. The same you could set red and green to zero and have blue at 255 for a bright blue. Blue at 100 would be dimmer.

Is it possible to use as a sound-activated strobe light in red light only?

As I recall, in sound mode there is no control over the colour.

Can you change this to 3 channel mode to use with an rgb dmx controller? how do you select 3 channel mode? thanks

It doesn’t give you the option to change channels and sadly the first channel is a dinner
