Amazing little device that solved a bunch of problems
Rarely does a device come along that a) just works, b) doesn't need any screwing around, c) solves a bunch of problems at once. I'm running Linux (Debian), watch TV connected to my PC that either plays from a local NAS or streams from Youtube / Netflix / Disney. It takes a little getting used to because it's gyroscopic (so the angle can accelerate the cursor), but perfect for adjusting volume, skipping ahead / rewinding, pausing. It's also great if I'm cleaning with music or a podcast and want to adjust the volume without going over to the keyboard as well. Typing is a bit slow, takes awhile for each letter to show up so it's easy to miss a few. It would be fantastic if the keyboard was backlit as well, hard to see at night. So minor though. I wanted an app that could do the same, but after trying a bunch for hours this was as plug and play as one can get. I've charged it once or twice over the last few months, so great battery life as well. So happy with this

There is a lot to like about the design of this product but the base function is flawed.
I bought this to provide mouse and keyboard input for a Win10 machine running a wall mounted display.Pros: the overall feel of the product is good. The keyboard is excellent and it is clear that the designers thought through a lot of the ergonomics. These aspects really made me want to give this product a good review...but I cannot.Con: The most important feature of this product is the ability to control the movement of a cursor. And in this regard, the product falls flat on its face. I don't know whether it is bad calibration of the accelerometers or bad translation of the accelerometer data to cursor movement, but the cursor does not track with hand movement a natural way. There are many problems but the one that is the most annoying is that the cursor when tend to move right and down more easily than it moves left and up. Thus one soon has the cursor at the side or bottom of the screen and no way to move it to the left or the top because the Air Mouse is already pointing left or up. The only way to recover is to turn off cursor control, moving the device to the right or down and then turning cursor control back on. The need to repeat this every minute or so very quickly becomes annoying.Bottom line: This Air Mouse is not realistically usable for its primary function.

Works with Nvidia shield (2017 version)
Works great in Shield as long as your close enough. Some people claim that it doesn't work in plex, that is incorrect. Sometimes it gets stuck, but if you hit the back and go back in your fine again. Not a terrible issue and much better than the original shield remote. It also works fine in prime, netflix, vudu and showtime app. The keyboard also works great but sometimes you have to choose keyboard mode as the shield option. It would be nice if there was a button that would tell you how much charge that's left. A button and a cheap 3 led display that shows you full, half, low charge would be great. So far, I've used it without needing to charge it again. There is a distance issue between the dongle and the remote that anything beyond 7 feet and communication gets spotty. I'm planning to get a usb extension cable and re-position the dongle outside my entertainment furniture

Works great but heads up
It's an Amazing Remot and works perfectly for what I need. My only issue was the power button doesn't work unless you program it using your old remote. Also don't plug in the dongle until you program it (that should be a warning in the user Manual).

Works
I bought this remote to work with my mini PC being used as a media player on my bedroom TV. Since I'm running a PC on the TV, I needed a remote mouse to make it easier than having a wireless mouse & keyboard on the TV table. It does work, however it's a bit difficult to use. The range of motion is okay. I could not get the numbers to work though? I wasn't able to log back in to Windows (cuz it uses a pin) & the number pad would not enter #'s. After logging in manually, I opened up Notepad using the remote (there's no "right click" key, so I had to go the long route to open Notepad. I was able to use the keyboard both letters & numbers just fine in Notepad. The FN key turns on the numbers...it works then, but I could not get it to work when attempting to log in. I kept getting the wrong login error and then it locks you out. So still working thru the oddness of using this remote mouse, but it does work for what I need it to do.

Works well, but take note of the USB caveat
I bought this to *drive" Samsung DEX on my phone when connected to my TV. It works well, though it sometimes takes two hands to steady the mouse pointer while trying to click on something. It's not documented anywhere I can find, but if you are using the USB dongle then most of the buttons are locked to USB and won't work for IR even if you program them with the IR learning function. As soon as I unplugged the USB dongle all my IR programmed buttons started working. Just be aware you can't force a button to work on IR if it's already assigned a USB function from the factory. Overall it works great and I'm happy with it.

Lasted 2 months
It was working fine even though the power button did nothing and after two months the remote stopped working. I believe its the usb dongle that failed. I would not recommend this remote to anyone even though the price was decent and the qulity was fair. I was unisg this with the Nvidia shield, do your self a favor get the original remote do not waste your time with this one.

Worked right out the box
This remote works perfectly with my wireless car play and streaming device that I use in my car. My car isn’t touch screen so inputting passwords and user names took time and became very annoying. This remote solved my problem and worked straight out the package with no programming required. Highly recommended.
