These work GREAT!! I use them in combination with a pair of tube bending pliers (same thing a tubing bender, but pliers). That gives me optimal bend without kink. But, even hand bending with these was super easy and my bends came out kink-free! I love these things. I've always heard that these are "old school" for old plumbers and fridge guys. Well, I guess the next time you see me at IHOP at 3AM, I'll be sober and starting my day, because old guys rule. Honestly, having these on hand has really been a game changer, they've all the common sizes of tubing, and they mostly fit inside each other, so they save room in your toolbox. If I had to choose between a tube slinky like these and a tubing bender, I'm going tube slinky, every time. 100% worth the money. Paid for themselves in 30 seconds on a job. Put them in your toolbox and thank me later.

If you ever do any work with copper tubing, these are must own. They allow you to make fairly small radius bends in the tube without kinking or creasing or making any damaging deformities. There is nothing very special about this set, they just work and can be used repeatedly. Even if used only one time, I recommend purchasing this.

Thought I’d save some money and avoid buying a proper tubing bender. If you have a couple of bends to do these will probably work for you. They will keep the tubing from crimping. The problem is they can be very difficult to remove from the bent tube. I ended up over bending to tube some so when I straighted it up to my desired bend the spring would come off.

I’m a bit of a handyman and installed my own mini split. Not having the tools that I needed and not wanting to spend a lot. I purchased this to burn the tubing to fit into the cover that I had purchased. This tool is a lifesaver. It allowed me to bend the 5/8 tubing without kinking it. You have to unwind the spring after bending the tubing because it becomes extremely tight. I would buy this again if I needed another one.

These are 2/3 the size of my JB Industries. I bought them because I misplaced my 5/8 on a jobsite. If i take my 5/8" JB and hold it horizontally by the straight END it is stiff as a board and does not droop. Holding this 5/8" China made product (keep in mide it 8" long compared to JB's 12") the same way, it droops. You get what you pay for. ;)

These springs keep the copper tube in shape when it is bent and a very good price- recommended
