With these, as opposed to other, cheaper brands, the stapler can staple many sheets of paper due, I think, to the staples being sharper than most others. Years ago I tried a different brand and have used different brands at other offices and I couldn't staple more than a handful of sheets.

How do you rate a staple? My rating is based I never having my stapler jam, or produce a crooked staple, when using these, even when stapling 10 sheets. I bought these only because they were recommended to use with my new Swingline stapler that was advertised as being able to staple up to 12 sheets. My old stapler and staples couldn’t make it through even six sheets. I’ve not tried 12 sheets, but these work flawlessly through 10. Well worth the extra cost.

I would have given this a 5-star rating but the staples were shipped inside a cardboard box (the one shown in picture) then they put the box in one of those flimsy shipping envelopes. The envelope rattled upon receipt. The cardboard box was smashed open and staples were everywhere in the envelope. Ease of use would have been a 5 if I hadn't had to play "Legos' to fit them in the old plastic staple box that I just happened to have saved. Someone shoud have thought this one out! The staples are a good deal and product.

These little pieces of metal get a beating every day! We pound that stapler according to our moods, hey. So the staples need to be strong, in large provisions because their use has made their proof. So when the chamber is empty, and none left, Amazon will provide for any size, length and amount per box. Look for "The Swingline SF 4 Premium Staples, Pack of 5000 (the most common model). 5000 is a regular, small box. (No it,s not the size of your office desk). So Stock up on these...your secretary will thank you.

Perfect, I had old staples and a new stapler, so I definitely needed these, easy to fit easy to use.

Excellent product. Staples work great. The shipping damaged the box so that all the staples were lose in the package.

Staples worked flawlessly in my new Swingline 747 stapler. The stapler is made of heavy metal and with these recommended SF 4 staples offer exceptional value,,, Don't buy cheap staples or a plastic squeeze-it cheapo stapler. Not much more for quality,,,

A very sturdy and reliable stapler which operates smoothly and easily. I love the pale blue colour too! Expensive but looks capable of lasting a very long time.
