My driver side door was clicking something terrible, so I ordered this new check strap. It took about 30 minutes to switch over and now, NO clicking.

17 ft lbs Torque on the nuts to threaded studs!!!
Have/get a torque wrench. 17 Ft lbs. on the nuts to threaded studs nothing more. Otherwise good product, got it fast, nice and quiet now........on my 2nd one. I twisted one of the threaded studs off (over torqued (didn't know the specs and was not using a torque wrench)) on my first one.

Search for YouTube videos on how to install. Very easy but be careful not to over torque.
