I’m using this antenna for receive only with a Baofeng radio. It is superior to using a 17” Nagoya whip antenna. I’ve done back to back tests and the Bingfu picks up more signals and further away. It’s surprising how good it is. As many have noted, the magnet base is not strong enough for high speed highway use. They do include a 3M adhesive disc for more permanent mount. So five stars for performance and value.
