Gold Toe Men's Cotton Crew 6 Plus 2 Bonus Pack

I ordered the size for shoe size 6-12 1/2, I wear a US 10.5 Wide shoe, the socks looked like they were going to be too small out of the package but when I put them on they fit perfectly. I’ve worn them through 3 full wash cycles before submitting my review. They’re comfortable and you can just tell by the quality feel they’re going to hold up well. I almost didn’t buy these after seeing the review and picture of someone claiming they washed them one time and had severe pilling. I did not have this problem, that person should have their washer/dryer looked at or replaced because that’s what caused their problem, not the socks. Update: 14 months of everyday use and these socks are still holding up great. I think these are already the longest lasting socks I’ve ever worn.

I've been wearing Gold Toe crew socks for at least 20 years, and I find them to be better than any other brands I've tried. They're comfortable and priced fairly, especially when you get a couple of bonus pairs. Not being too thick nor thin makes them good for all seasons, though sometimes I'll wear thicker cotton socks or wool socks on the coldest winter days. It's hard to say how long they last, because I have enough pairs of Gold Toe socks to go more than a month without washing them all. If I were to only wear these 8 pairs and wash about once per week, I'd expect them to last a couple of years. When they wear down, they'll develop small holes, but it takes a while for the holes to grow big. They stay nice and tight on the ankle and never loosen and droop for me there. I'll keep buying these as long as they're out there.

Been wearing gold toe socks for over 40 years. Quality is always good, the fit is always good, but I only buy them when they are on sale, cause they are a bit pricey. If I get a bundle of them, I use them as stocking stuffers for my sons as well at Christmas time. Typically last between 4-5 years before they become dust or shop rags. cmz

I play a lot of pickleball and these are the most comfortable socks for me. They're not as "plush" as they used to be so they don't hold up very long.

These are the favorite in our family and extended family. Great for Christmas and birthdays especially for inlaw kids that you don't know well enough to buy things for--they all love them! 2 bonus pair for the same price as 6 at other stores.

I thought these socks would be lighter and cooler for summer wear. They are a very good quality of sock but they are bulky in my shoes and hot to wear. I think they will be better for winter to keep my feet warm.

I have been a fan of Gold Toe socks for twenty years. I tend to stock up once in a while because these socks do eventually wear out. The current batch of 8 pair are over ten years old and some were much the worse for wear. This 6+2 8 pack was an ideal solution. When I received these socks they were noticeably more plush and not surprisingly, dark black instead of the charcoal my older socks had become over a decade of use. I collected up all the old versions and filed them under G. These socks have a snug top of calf fit, but there is no struggle to put them on. They just work in every way they should. Couldn't be happier. I may order another pack.
