A little larger than I expected them to be but v useful reusable markers. Sturdy. Some have white surface markings which can detract from appearance and make chalk writing less visible. Better quality control to remove those heavily marked would raise my rating to 5.

Good quality slates and big enough not to get lost in my veg bed.Well packaged too, none turned up broken. I recommend using a chalk pen as the stick supplied washes off in the rain.

I've always preferred using slate plant markers over wood, copper or plastic for a number of reasons, but mainly because of the durability, and that I can use a Dremel Multitool (available on Amazon) to grind the plant name into the label, as pen and chalk wash off or fade in the sun. It is the first time I have used Maison & White Store labels, and it definitely won't be the last. For a start the price is unreal compared to what I normally pay; I normally get a pack of 6 for the same price as this pack of 20 (at the time of review this pack cost £12.49). They are also around 1" longer than my usual brand, so I have more space to write the plant name on. The labels came in very good secure packaging (strong cardboard box, with protective foam inside). The label thickness does vary a little, but that is the nature of slate. Very happy, and will definitely purchase more in the future.

I was very pleased with the packaging and delivery of this item. The markers are far better than I imagined after reading some reviews. I haven't used them in my herb pots outside yet because I am hoping to label them with vinyl text rather than rely on chalk pens so I cannot advise on the chalk pense. Will probably buy more as they would make a super gift for gardening friends. These are the stakes with permanent vinyl added and I am pleased withthe effect. Will report back when they have been out in the weather for a good period of time but will certainly purchase againMy original markers have been outside for a couple of years and are still as good as new. The second photo is of my latest bath of markers for a friend who is moving house. I will be purchasing more of these as they make a lovely gift.

I've tried a lot of other garden labels but they don't last long (copper turns colors, wood breaks apart). These are sturdy and pretty. The trick is finding the right chalk or chalk pen - need one that won't wash off, but you don't want permanent if you intend to resue.

Pratique et très esthétique. Légères disparité d'épaisseur ou de surface, mais c'est normal pour de la pierre naturelle. La craie fournie est un plus, l'inscription résiste assez bien aux intempéries mais finit par s'effacer.

Ich habe fast alle Pflanzkübel damit bestückt. Für die Beschriftung habe ich mir einen dünnen, wasserfesten Edding gekauft. Es sieht toll aus. Die Pflanzstecker überstehen den stärksten Regen und können nicht verwittern.

Seit über einem Jahr im Garten im Einsatz - sieht hübsch aus, hält auch was aus. Leider aufgrund der rauhen Oberfläche auch anfällig für Schmutz, Moos etc. aber das kann man dem Material nicht wirklich vorwerfen...
