BEAR CREEKSoup Mix, Cheddar Broccoli, 11.2 Ounce

I've used this brand for many years and as a celiac who MUST have a gluten free product, I have been so pleased to find some flavorful and easy products in this line. Of course, not all Bear Creek products are gluten free, but this one is and it tastes great, easy to make, and really is family sized.

IF I had a gripe it would be the price but other than that its a wonderful soup that is quick and easy. If you add fresh broccoli, cauliflower, carrots (yes carrots just not too much lol) and "flavor enhancers" like onion, garlic, peppers it just gets better. The cheese taste does not have the usual mechanical or metal taste but is rich and velvety instead. I tried an experiment and made old fashioned home made VERY expensive cheddar broccoli soup with heavy cream, real chunk cheese (tillamook private reserve extra sharp cheddar), fresh broccoli etc. I then made a bag of Bear Creek and had my family/friends taste them. We really couldn't tell the difference between the taste. The ONLY difference was the actual texture as water will never equal cream.

I love this soup. I also can put it in my slow cooker and it come out great. I wish I could eat it all the time but the salt content is too high for me.

This is such a great soup! Although we add cheddar to it for the flavor and prefer it that way. We also add in broccoli too the way they suggest for a heartier meal. Tastes great with a crusty load of bread, French or sourdough.

Was very taste but next time I make it I will add more broccoli and it will be perfect. I ordered it again

Love this soup. I Do wish it didn’t have so much salt in it. It is so easy to make. They are prefect to keep on the shelf for emergencies.
