Fantastic Quality Leather Holster
This level-two retention leather holster is quality through and through! Like most leather holsters it requires a short breaking-in process in order to easily snap it shut; however, that process is simplified by the addition of the snap’s rear flap having an opposite-side-of-the-flap reinforced leather tab. I have no idea what the tab is actually called, but it certainly does help with the attachment process. As for the leather, it looks, smells and feels first-rate! There was no skimping on quality when they put this baby together. Double-stitching, where the pistol meets the leather, is absolutely beautiful! And all three belt holes are clean and neatly done. This holster looks more like some of the $300 to $500 custom leather holsters I’ve ordered from other places. Except for the lack of bling and additional customized features typically associated with higher-end leather holsters, you won’t feel much difference at all. And for about $50, well, I can’t imagine you going wrong with this product. For an affordable, high quality, and aesthetically pleasing product, I simply cannot imagine anyone but the pickiest not enjoying this holster for many years!!Go ahead and shell out the 50 to 60 bones for this holster. I think you’re going to love it!!

Top of the Line
Gould & Goodrich has always been top of the line in holsters. I am a retired military medic, and a LEO. So I always wore a pistol for most of my life. Most holsters I hated, especially the Army's and duty holsters. I just never would shell out the bucks to buy a Gould & Goodrich. Still haven't, my son bought it for me. It fits my 1911 w/ rail beautifully. Remember this is a "cocked and locked holster". This means for it to fit you have to carry your 1911 with the hammer back. Then place the thumbstrap under the hammer and snap. This is the way 1911's are meant to be carried. It cannot fire accidentally with a leather thumbstrap in between it and the firing pin and the back strap safety not held down, and nothing touching the trigger. When you remove the firearm to clean or such, lower the hammer with 2 fingers (thumb and index) maintaining a hold while your opposite hand squeezes the trigger to avoid accidental discharge. Simple Stuff.

cant get my belt to work with that slot and hold the pistol in any usable angle but using the top two as intended its the most c
not sure what the lower 3rd slot is for, cant get my belt to work with that slot and hold the pistol in any usable angle but using the top two as intended its the most comfortable holster i have ever used. Its great for both concealed carry and open carry. It needed no fitting at all for my 4" gp100 and its clear it was made for this exact model. Tucks nice to the body so its not in the way of your arm as you swing it during walking its almost like its not even there. The thumb break works flawlessly. Its honestly far better than i expected and a major bonus is i can draw my pistol while seated and buckled in my truck so no more having to unholster it and place it under my leg or truck mounted holsterhere are some quick pix of it with my GP100, and yes my arms are down at my sides relaxed and im a slender guy yet i can fully conceal this full size revolver comfortably

not really a consealed holster
The holster was a perfect fit. If you could use the third slot it would be a great holster for concealment. The way it is now you have to wear a long shirt or tee shirt not tucked in. The leather is on the lighter side but will do. Over all it will work for what i intended, but for a real concealment holster I would pay the extra money.

Good quality/looks, works with a rail!
As far as quality, this holster is very good. However, it did not fit my 92FS Compact L with a rail. The gun would get caught up about half-way into the holster and simply wouldn’t go any further in without pushing the slide back. Unfortunate that I’ll have to return such a beautiful holster. Would suggest calling out in the product description that any Beretta with a rail will not fit in this productEdit: after a few attempts to break in the holster, primarily using a plastic bag around the 92 and letting it sit inside the holster overnight the compact with rail fits!

I was worried at first.
Jut got it in 2 days as advertised...quality constructed, and an awesome price. I was worried at first when reading pamphlet that came with it.....it says it will only work on 1911's in the hammer down position not loaded. THAT'S NO GOOD. Luckily as stated in amazon description, it was made to carry gun cocked locked and ready to rock. Otherwise it would be no good to tell bad guy, hold on while I load and cock my gun... Very comfortable holster to wear on strong side, even while sitting...cross draw seems to be ok too if you are riding in a car for long period of time or think you may have to quick draw your weapon.Overall a great holster, especially for the price.

Perfect fit
I have a 92fs that I bought for my birthday. I looked at a lot of holsters but kept coming back to this one. It fits my Beretta perfectly. I find it comfortable to wear. The Beretta is too heavy to wear all day unless it's your duty weapon and you have a sturdy gunbelt. Its not good for concealed carry in the summer but I plan on carrying it occasionally in the winter. It's great for open carry, though. This holster is beautiful, well made and I'm very happy with it.

Holds my 4" GP100 Securely and Comfortably
I bought this holster to replace an inexpensive synthetic that suffered a major, and embarrassing failure during a training class. (That holster fell apart, resulting in my UNLOADED revolver nearly falling into a latrine). I purchased this holster based on reviews and couldn't be happier. This is a solid, well made, holster, made of REAL leather. My 4" GP100 is held securely, and is easily accessed. I wish I had purchased this holster BEFORE I took the class. Then I could have completed the course with my favorite revolver, instead of my backup gun and holster.
