To level this flat bottomed head, pan the head until it's pointing between two of the legs, ignoring the rear leg to start. Looking at the bubble, adjust the left or right leg until the bubble is centered left and right. Now adjust the rear leg until the bubble is centered. Yep, slow and troublesome. That's why ball heads were so revolutionary in the 1070's. **Q: For the MVH502 head with 75mm Half Ball, is it possible to remove the 75mm Half Ball (unscrewing it somehow) to make a flat based head 4 versatility?** A: Yes Yes Yes!
