Tired of using phone to view solar output and monitor battery?
It's a cheap way to have a small computer. I use it to connect to my Victron 150/45 solar controller and view solar output on 13" monitor which is connected via wireless HDMI transceiver/receiver. The monitor is at one end of my RV while the solar stuff including the PI is at the other end. I loaded the Venus OS which actually took me a couple of days to understand and install. I watched a lot of YT videos. The wireless TX and RX can be found on Amazon for 20.00. I also made my own VE direct cable, more YT videos. All said and done I saved a few hundred dollars not having to pay for expensive Cerbo GX, but put in a lot of time which I have plenty of at age 66. Update July 17th 2025 a year later: Everything still works perfect as the day I set it all up. No problems. I use Alexa to turn on and off everything automatically, on in the morning at sunrise and off at sunset. I set up a "routine" where Alexa will turn on the Monitor, PI and HDMI Transmitter all at the same time. I put all three items into a group which I called SOLAR. So although Alexa handles the daily turning on and off automatically I can still manually control all three devices by saying Alexa turn off or on Solar. It's just so simple. So to be clear the PI 4 still works perfect a year later and it is used everyday.

Great product
Honestly just amazing, I would recommend getting the rpu 5 nowadays, but this has been a blast to use for my projects

Just what I needed.
The Pi 4 has been perfect for my web server setup. It’s fast, reliable, and handles everything I’ve thrown at it without issues. Setup was quick with Raspberry Pi OS — just flashed the SD card, plugged it in, and it was up and running in minutes. For the size and price, it’s hard to beat. If you’re looking for a simple, low-power server option, this is an awesome choice.

Good for moderate to complex products
Bought it to experiment with some projects I had in mind. The specs are pretty good for moderate to early complex projects. The board gets a little warmer faster than I thought, but no issues in working otherwise. One thing to note - ""YOU CANNOT INSTALL THE OS VIA A USB IN THIS PI."" I added this since some latest versions of Pi 4 has this capability of installing OS via the USB instead of the memory card (I thought this one had that capability). So, adding this if anyone is buying it for this specific requirement. The board works great overall!

Hasn't bogged down, Wi-Fi is decently reliable.
Works well. But the Wi-Fi will drop out. Sometimes I need to reboot the Pi several times for it to connect. I might try an USB Wi-Fi adapter for more stability.
