Yes - but you have to use a flat induction heat diffuser - about $20. Turn my Bosch induction cooktop to 8.5. Just made some last night. It is wonderful popcorn.

Is this whirley popper stainless steel

Yes. The same model exists, but has a plastic lid. However, this one is metal.
