Espresso Napoletano Whole Coffee Beans, Dark Roast, 1kg Bag

Lovely strong great value coffee. Dark roast, tastes lovely from my ninja luxe, very smooth taste, great value for the price.

This coffee is amazing for the price. It's ALMOST as good as the premium ones, but for a fraction of the price. It's strong, tasty, aromatic, smell well, the beans are not making the mess as some of them, with a nice colour. The beans are rather smaller, but it's a good thing, because it could be grounded better. Even the open bag still smells fresh. It's a perfect balance between the quality and value. I can recommend this coffee for sure.

One of the best Italian coffee - strong, tasty and full of aroma

The Espresso Napoli beans received did not disappoint, especially after trying some "specialty coffee" free with the purchase of a Sage Impress espresso machine. I never had such an acidic coffee in my life! Completely the opposite of the Jimbo Espresso Napoli. I do prefer a dark roast to a light one. The beans received were roasted 6 month prior delivery and with an expiration date of June 2024, so plenty of life left in them, but that's inrelevant as it will be consumed within 2 weeks. 🤪 The grind settings needed for this coffee needed to be 7 numbers coarser than a medium roast. Taste: It taste very similar to an espresso from a bar in Italy. Using a single wall basket, I am getting some crema. The aroma is there too but not high. The taste is pleasant, no trace of any acidity, which is pleasing to me but it's not long lasting. You can find a bit better elsewhere but you can find allot worse too. If you haven't tried the kimbo's range yet, it's not a bad place to start from, you'll never know, you'll might like it. I am exploring espresso coffee but I'll be buying some more of the Espresso Napoli as a backup.

These are my favourite espresso beans at the price - absolutely excellent roast and consistent flavour. Normally I'd have given five stars but am still smarting from my last bag of beans - a stone in it killed my coffee grinder. Must have been a hard pebble too as that grinder was pretty robust. So three stars not justified on flavour or value, but definitely justified on presence of building materials.

Finally after a long search, I have decided to settle on this. Good consistency and a slightly woody flavor that’s distinct enough for daily use. Not all beans are created equal and I think my espresso machine is finally meeting with that someone she deserves.

Kimbo’nun bu ürünü genel olarak oldukça başarılı. Aroması ve tonlamaları kendine özgü, gayet dengeli. Sadece kavrulma seviyesi bana göre biraz yüksek olsa da, lezzet profili genel anlamda çok tatmin edici.

I had read some good things about Kimbo on various espresso forums online, so wanted to give this a try. I am using a Niche Zero grinder paired with a high end dual boiler machine. First impressions are that these beans are exuding of roasty, smoky flavor. There is not much of that classic chocolatey Italian espresso flavor. Just way too bitter. I have been pulling ristrettos given the roast level and have tried varying shot temperature, but it just feels like a cheap commercial grade coffee. I bought this purely for exploration, but don't think I can recommend it to others. One can find better things for the same amount of money. For instance, Illy is better, Malabar Gold is quite awesome, etc. Also, I bought this at the end of September 2022 and the beans were roasted on March 2, 2022. Was not expecting fresh beans through Amazon anyway, but including it here as some useful information.

I love this wspresso and it as wonderful taste to it. And a strong dark roast but smooth. I will buy this again. It reminded in Italy.
