Blood Sorcery Bible Volume 1: Rituals in Necromancy Paperback – November 1, 2011

I am very pleased that I found this found book. My dilemma is in writing this review. I am afraid that if I speak my mind and soul, there will be many people trying to buy it. But, I don't think they are all worthy of it.This First volume is more then an introduction into Blood Sorcery, it is total immersion. This is far from the scenes of fires and nudes playing flutes dancing around a fire calling upon God and Goddess in a Pagan equivalent of a child calling, "MOM", DAD" come play with us!"You may leave that nonsense at the New Age Shop next to the "Aura Camera".It is stated by the authoress that this is Sorcery not religion. That must be understood before you open this book. If you cannot suspend your religious beliefs then do not pick up this book. The Sorceress explains how fundamental Physics can be applied to these formulas.This book, the Authoress, nor the true students of this work have no time for "3 Fold Rules", "Wiccan Redes, "Do No Harm" or Cosmic Bogey Men looking to impose Karma or any other kind of nonsensical superstitions.Sorceress Cagliastro explains the nuances of this formidable brand of Sorcery in very blunt and easy to follow terms. She touches on subjects that are not for the faint-hearted and warns that if this makes you squeamish, it is not for you. The text is easy to follow, albeit she does jump subjects at times and she will tell that she does it in the beginning of the book.I would highly recommend this book for the intelligent, open minded and committed practitioner of the Left Hand Path.

This book is not theistic and surprisingly not satanic at all. This is left hand path sorcery work using anatomy and self-vivisection, and interaction with dead souls and demons.To be honest i have asked myself many times if this work is really for me. It is unlike anything i have ever read before and requires much more commitment than any other work i've come across. The work demands a heavy price.This book has four different parts to it mixed in together; each one could easily have filled a book of its own.One part touches on mindset and the resolve needed to do this work. These sections show how important a Nietzschean will to power is to this type of work.One part touches on blood sorcery and self-vivisection used in sorcery rites of many kinds. To do this work, a phlebotomist is needed for some rites. Access to scalpels and needles as well as vials and refrigeration units is important. It touches on sexual blood sorcery and blood divination on flat surfaces.One part touches on necromancy as a way of life and death: the credo and 21 day rite of announcement, sleeping with the dead as a bond-builder, corporeal necromancy, opening temporary and eternal portals to the disincarnate. To do this work access to mausoleums and cemeteries is important, and a nocturnal lifestyle is assumed.One part touches on demonworks, describing the difference between deads and demons. A few rites are given for working with demons. Much information is given for interacting with disincarnates and important safety measures are given. Further information on the demonworks will be found in the Stygian manual, which is the followup to this grimoire.I've done a couple of the lighter sorcery events in this book already. They have taught me things - in many ways the things i have learned are beyond words. I have yet to scratch the surface here yet many would say i've already gone too far. Such is the depth of this work.This work is not for everyone. Cutting yourself open should be as routine as peeling an orange if you want to get anywhere in this kind of work. This sorcery has no mercy whatsoever, it is designed only to do the job.Having said that, this work is top notch. It works like a charm. In fact it might be too effective.In a world where many magical books underwhelm this one might be a little too much to handle.There is no guarantee that this work is safe if you are not careful, in fact little guarantee even if you are careful. Proceed with caution.With all that said, the sorcery works VERY well.5 stars.

This book is great and doesn’t deserve the criticism it gets. I have no idea why people would get a book on blood magick and necromancy and think to themselves they’re not going to need a way to get and use blood or incorporate the dead. And yes while she does warn the reader for quite a bit of the book she does it in a way that every time she talks about it she brings up a new aspect of the practice that will be required of you and information of what this work entails as a reason people may want to just stop reading. Her not including information on specific spells like giving someone dementia or causing death is specifically just to protect the reader. Not doing these spells 100% properly could cause it to happen to you instead and may also require a phlebotomist to get the blood required from specific sites on the body. She does provide a way to contact her though in case you are serious about doing these spells. She does include information on how to do quite a bit of other types of spells though. However, having said that I do wish she didn’t talk down on certain things like working with a deity for example. I also don’t think I’ll end up doing any of the spells. While I have no doubt they work they do require extreme measures be taken. Still I’m happy to have this in my collection. If anyone is looking for easier ways to incorporate blood magick I recommend just adding it to spells that already work for you or that at least are easier and legitimate. Doing so binds the magick to you and/or your will and definitely strengthens your spells. You can also add it as an ingredient in any way you’d like for it to add power to your spell work. I’ve had great luck with this method.
