Overall mediocre materials. The assembly process ands instructions prevents this from being a product to recommend. Please note that marriage counseling is not included in the sales price :) Unfortunately, the instructions do not include.....instructions. The instructions are presented with pictures which makes it difficult to determine if you are assembling the right way with the right parts. It also does not tell you what tools you will need. Additionally, the connector hose that comes with the unit was of so poor quality that we had to buy a new one.

The color is great and I like the wheels. That gets 1 star. Other than that I was disappointed. The instructions were completely useless, the supply hose is too short to be functional, the attachment point for the garden hose is a such a poor angle I had to install an adapt or to prevent the hose from kinking and then after all that, IT LEAKS. Will not buy again.

The product arrived on time but when I opened the box and began to put it together the trouble began. The holes were not drilled in the proper places, the package was missing some equipment, and the instructions were not very descriptive and very hard to follow. A friend and I pieced together what we could but the item does not work properly. Because of a missing screw only one side of the basket is connected to the handle bars and only one of the handle bars is secured with a screw because the holes did not line up. All four wheels were installed using the same instructions but one of them does not touch the ground. Also, the hose running from the cart to the house leaks at the point of connection as well as the point where you connect your hose to the cart for output.The only reason I didn’t return it was because taking it apart to prep it for shipping seemed like it would be even more of a headache. Amazon does not ever disappoint but this product broke their perfect record with me. Wish I never bought it.

The hose which came with the cart was of poor quality and began leaking almost immediately. The connectors could not hold water pressure, so we had to replace with better quality fittings.On a positive note, the cart is not noisy or flimsy and rolls nicely. A welcome upgrade from the resin hose reels we had been constantly replacing. The cost is high for this and if I had to do over, wouldn’t buy again because it is expensive for what you get.My husband struggled with the assembly because many connections were not lined up or complete. It took much longer than directions suggested because of poor production.Am planning to take VERY good care of this so we won’t have to buy again and assemble another one anytime soon!

A pre-assembled piece blew apart the first time we used it. The company offered to discount the item or send a replacement part. Offering to discount a defective and unusable product I found startling. They would not cover return shipment since it was “free shipping” to me and sending it back would cost more, so I chose the replacement part, but I am skeptical about the ability of this to last. I also wonder about the value of free shipping of defective merchandise that then requires a the buyer to deal with the cost of return. Assembly instructions are difficult to understand and it leaks terribly Not worth the money or hassle. Very disappointing experience.

The instruction wasn't clear but if you are handy, you should be able to assemble the cart without trouble. Out of the box, the cart looks great. It is sturdy, also fun and easy to use. We left it outside where all water hose cart would belong. After two weeks of rain, I went outside to check on it and the chrome part including the nuts and bolts were already rusted. Also, the powder coating wasn't much better. The luster has faded. It looks like it could peel off at anytime. Functionality is great but aesthetically, it won't last long.

I must say that I was excited to get this hose reel. However once I got it, I was disappointed. The assembly instructions were awful. Worse than Ikea. I am very handy and have put together a few of these, but this one was the worst. I had to struggle to get it together as some of the things didn't fit together properly. Some of the screws and other hardware were missing. The seller did resend a new hardware bag, but there was nothing they could do about the design flaw. After setup, the reel squeaked and made a grinding nose when rolling up the hose. My opinion is for the money, there are others out there that seem a little better.I have since purchased a similar product and had no issues.

Thankfully, my husband is very skilled & mechanical & therefore, was able to assemble this hose cart despite the incredibly inadequate instructions & less than stellar design. Sadly, he somehow missed the reviews that mentioned these drawbacks. While it looks nice, I fully expect it to leak as other reviews mentioned. We shall see & even so, I doubt we’ll exercise the time & effort to disassemble the cart to return it (fairly certain the seller is banking on this). If you possess mad interpretative skills, love a challenge & think out of the box, these instructions will be right up your alley.
