RiceSelect Arborio Rice for Italian Risotto, Premium Gluten-Free Rice, Non-GMO, 32-Ounce Jar, (Pack of 1)

Good quality. Made some delicious mushroom risotto.

I make Risotto in my Instant Pot using this Arborio Rice. The local Safeway typically runs out of this in their stock and I have found it easier for me to order it on Amazon and have it delivered to my door instead of routinely drive to the grocery and become disappointed. As far as the taste of this is concerned I feel that it is okay. The price is reasonable, and it just so happens to be versatile enough for what I need it for, which is to work in the Pressure Luck recipes I use for the Instant Pot. The dish I am literally making right now (during the submission of this review) is the Pressure Luck Mushroom Risotto recipe, which exclusively calls for Arborio Rice. I have yet to experience any bugs in this rice, like some other brands that I have tried before had little red bugs in it. Not this brand so far (knock on wood). In conclusion, this Arborio rice works for what I need it for in the Instant Pot, and makes for creamy and tasty Risotto.

I love to make risotto and couldn't find arborio rice in the shops around me. This vendor had some for a good price. Shipping was very fast. I've used this brand of arborio rice before and it really makes wonderful risotto.

Made mushroom risotto with porcini and cremini (baby bella) mushrooms with snow peas. My first from scratch risotto! Easier and better than I expected. Will try new variations next. Quicker than I expected.

I bought this RiceSelect Arborio Rice with dreams of becoming a risotto maestro. I imagined myself stirring away, glass of wine in hand, creating a dish so creamy and tender that Gordon Ramsay himself would shed a tear. And you know what? The rice delivered—its creamy texture was spot-on.Unfortunately, I was a little too invested in that glass of wine and ended up serving a risotto with a nice, crunchy bottom layer. The top? Absolutely delicious! The bottom? Well, let's just say it would have made a great addition to a crispy rice sushi roll.All in all, this rice has the potential to make you feel like a top chef... just keep an eye on it, or you'll end up with two dishes in one!
