I found these for my wife who is VERY particular about sheets. we both love them. She makes me buy her a new set for every gift occasion. They are thick, extremely well made, durable but feel like heaven when you lay on them. The 1000's are definitely worth the extra.

So let me start by saying out of the package these sheets are stiff and thick, like almost denim thick. Even after 3 washings they are still stiff, but I know over time these are going to be thick soft, long lasting sheets. The stitching is pretty good and I have a 15 in mattress and they fit just fine, even after a few washings. The elastic goes all around the edges of the fitted sheet. Also they didn’t bleed color when I washed them, and considering they are dark red that is amazing.If you are looking for a set of thick sheets that are going to last and just get softer and softer, these are the sheets for you, especially for the price. I am planning on buy another set for myself and a set for my daughter.Edit: So I bought a second set of these sheets and they are just as amazing as the first set. The yellow set are a california queen size rather then a regular queen size, but are just as nice. Even though they are really thick they are very smooth and soft. Over the years I have bought quite a few sets of sheets, looking for this quality. I will have to say, if you are looking for thin sheets, these are not it, but if you want thick quality sheets that will last, look no further..

These Pizuna 1000 are the closet to Heavy Sheets I Can Find anymore. I loved my Vera Wang 1000 TC sheets of 10 years ago, but I've searched, and I just don't think anyone makes that real heavy all cotton sheet anymore. However these are half to 2/3 as heavy as the old Vera Wang's, which feels kind of heavy, and they also have a smooth, crisp cool feeling. They are very nice sheets. I think our mattress is about 13-14'' deep, so they fit a little loose which is fine, made to also accommodate a deeper mattress. Not many wrinkles, pretty smooth, and I took them right out of the dryer. The stitching is plain, but straight and neat, and that is also fine, since they are a good price. I like them enough to buy some for another bed. They are my new favorites, tired of looking.

I bought these Nov 2018. Been meaning to write review. It's now Summer 2019.I was a bit concerned when i 1st got them, Yes they were heavy and stiff. Butgive em time. They WILL soften. I wash this set by itself in machine, and thenonly top or bottom (1 at a time in the dryer). They are dense, and separating makesthe difference. I do not over dry, as the directions state. This will lengthen the life of the sheets.An addit perk i didn't expect, if you have animals on your bed...my cat runs all over the bed.In the past, once i got bedsheets to that soft broken in point, it wasn't long before his sharp nailswould puncture holes, that then turned into bigger holes. Not so w these. Thanks to the 'beef' ofthese sheets that hasn't happened. Also, w other 100% cotton sheets, all his cat hair where everhe laid, i need to roller tape. Another great perk. i don't know why, but his hair is not left behindfor me to clean up.I got Dk Grey. Very rich slate grey. Love them!!!

I always thought that sheets are just sheets. Yes, some are thinner than others but I did not expect to be so incredibly amazed by the experience of — cotton sheets!?!I am buying these for all of my loved ones and all my guest beds.These sheets offer a totally differerent sleep experience comapred to any other sheets I have ever had. They feel so thick and sturdy, and yet when you sleep with them, it's like they are simultaniously breathable and substantive and soft.When I make the bed with them, I don't fear they'll rip when I put the fitted sheets over the corners. When I put the pillow in the case, the pillow looks new and bright and fluffs up and looks beautiful.They hold up well in the washing machine and come out just as great as the day I bought them, six months later. I have the white sheets, and they look amazing. They are completely opaque and sturdy and make the bed look a picture from a luxury hotel.I highly recommend them!

I shopped for sheets before we had our split king Sleep Number mattresses delivered. I was fortunate to find these at a time when they had a discount coupon that gave 25% off, so I ordered them. I thought they were so nice after I had received, washed and dried them that I wanted to get another set, even though I didn't yet know how well they'd fit the mattresses. But the coupon was still there, and I figured if they didn't fit perfectly, I could always return the second set unopened. It was then that I discovered that the discount coupon was only good for the navy blue sheets I had chosen, and while I would have liked another color, I bought a second set in navy, as the price was unbeatable! And when the mattresses came, the fit was fine, so I decided to keep both sets. Hopefully they'll last a long time rotating between them. They feel very luxurious, and are just what we wanted. They definitely do need washing before use to take away a somewhat funky odiferous quality noticeable on initial unpacking.I understand these are just the standard size on these sheets, but I would make a minor quibble and suggest that in general, the top sheet in a split king set would be better off being a bit wider than a regular king top sheet, because when you're lying on a flat mattress and your sleeping partner has the foot and/or head portion raised, there is barely enough sheet to cover both of you.I've never had 1000 thread count sheets before, but must add that these are the first sheets I've owned that I can't see daylight through when I hold them between my face and the window. All in all, we're very pleased with these purchases.

The sheets appear to be good quality I have not used at this stage. When opened the set, there is two pillow slips twice as long as a standard pillow case. Is this a mistake? I am going to have to get the sewing machine out to see if I can make them into a standard pillow case. I ordered a set of king size sheets with a fitted sheet, flat sheet and two pillow cases. I am in Australia so I am not wanting to send them back.
