Great coffee pod machine.
Really good coffee pod machine, easy to use and delivers great coffee. It takes up very little room and only requires cleaning every now and then to keep in tip top condition. This is the second one we have had. The first one lasted about five years of daily use before giving up the ghost and is great value for money Would certainly recommend.

Love this coffee maker
Had the other big brand coffee maker and although it was good I preferred the coffee pod options for the dolce gusto machines. Chose this one as it was on offer at the time and is cheap anyway. However it's perfect I've used it everyday since I got it and don't remember the last time I boiled my kettle. Takes about 5 seconds after turning the power on and lifting the pod holder to be ready to use. Makes a perfect coffee. Had the issue some do early on where the part where the coffee goes out clogging and going everywhere, but I just wiped that part and it was fine and no issues since. Highly recommended

Compact aesthetically pleasing machine. Good value.
The machine itself is compact and easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. I’m a bit disappointed with the taste of the flat white, I add some instant coffee to get a more coffee taste. I also do not like the actual pods. If liquid is left inside I have to pierce the rigid top with a sharp knife to empty completely. The cappuccino tastes ok. I’ve yet to try other flavours. Coffee is a decent temperature not too hot.

Easy Creamy: Dolce Gusto Picollo Coffee Maker
My review is on the efficiency and helpful working details of this particular pod model and includes tips on some extra possibilities. The Dolce Gusto Picollo is very petite and pretty. Notes for this model: It's very easy to use. The water container is enough for two medium cups. It doesn't use the timing code on the pods which means it's not automatic so you must remember to turn it off when it reaches your desired cup level. A tray underneath would be good in case you or an older loved one forget to turn it off. When not in use it shuts off after a minute. It's important that the light is green before you lift the pod lid. After I first plugged it in I thought it wasn't working as the light didn't light up. It only does this AFTER you lift the lid to take out the pod container. It uses a 10a fuse but a 13a is OK. Mine had a three pin plug. Clean it before you start by filling the container with water then pressing the switch to the left for cold water approx. for one cup, stop, then press to the right for hot and fill the cup. I just poured water into the container in situ rather than removing it first. When you do lift off the water container remember to rinse underneath gently so that in time it won't turn green. My photo is a cup of tea from the Gusto. I put TWO t-bags into a reused pod and then poured some milk from the fridge. It was less bitter and I found I used less sugar and milk. However, I did use bottled water as it's supposed to make it tastier and prolong the life of the machine. I also made a Starbucks Cappuccino, and a Nestle hot chocolate. Good froth/crema and hot. The froth is created by a filter and high pressure within the machine: inserting a milk pod creates a froth on the milk; inserting a coffee pod creates a crema. I was thinking about making a bespoke tea cosy for the machine, a cute hat, as the motor was loud but it was quick. Extras: I'm considering buying reusable pods, but they do leak a little. A 'Tamper' is used to pack the grounds evenly for a quality shot - Barista's style. I can't wait to get me one of those! A set of double walled glass mugs would be lovely. You can chose one with handles or without as they are insulated. I can't decide between the stand up pod holder or the drawer type which can be put under the machine. I discovered I can buy cheaper milk pods and hot chocolate pods with generic names on Amazon and save a lot. There are cold fruity pods too. A good idea if you are leaving a cup ready under the machine is to turn it upside down. Wondering too what instant coffee would taste like given the Gusto treatment lol. Soooo many choices since finding this handy little machine. Including p/p and voucher it was only €31.16. My new fav gadget.

Great.
Simple coffee machine for Dolce Gusto style pods. Works a charm and easy to maintain. Relatively small and stays on my countertop permanently without much intrusion. A fraction of the price of the same item in Harvey Norman (when on sale).

Cheapest Dolce Gusto but still same taste
Brilliant wee machine. Bought for less than £30, bargin!! Listed on famous testing magazine as a "best buy" WHICH is great. I have previously owned the all singing and dancing version at five times the price - coffee tastes exactly the same. Small water reservoir(2 mugs) and manual water shut off the only negative - but hey for under £30!!

Easy to use & quite cute
Got this on the recommendation of a consumer ratings website and haven't been disappointed. I was very hesitant on using a "pod" machine for quality and environmental reasons, but found an adapter that lets me use my own (home) ground coffee with this machine to avoid wasteful pods. The coffee quality is good - nice crema, good taste, not bitter. I have used it with the premade pods also which was fairly easy, though making a latte-type milk drink with two pods was kind of a pain. I also like how cute it is and how little space it takes up on the counter - easy to refill the water reservoir, quick to warm up, and you can choose your volume based on when you push the slider back to off - just don't walk away or it'll overflow the cup! Does drip a tiny bit after you turn it off so leave the cup there for a minute after stopping it. Haven't tried the cold setting yet.

Makes great tasting coffee
Great little coffee maker, however, it doesn’t have an auto shut off so you do have to time your cups yourself. But the taste is delicious so if you don’t mind doing that, it is a good value for the money.

My coffee Maker came with a electric plug not suitable for Australian electricity units.
