I was running this controller at 36 volts and it works but not very powerful.
Although, I do weigh 250 lbs I'm sure a person 140 pounds would fly along much faster than me!All and all, this is a dependable motor controller. For the price and ease it is to install I would recommend it as a beginners controller that will not break any speed records.
