Strong for not what's intended for
I bought for my dog who loves to rip pillows up. I stuff them with pillow rememinents and he carries it around until he puts a hole in one then I cover it up with another sack. This is perfect for him.

Tough but eco-friendly
I prefer the burlap material for several reasons, namely longer lasting than plastic, naturally biodegradable, and extremely sturdy. They don’t tear or leak soil contents even when roughly handled and dropped. I have used about 150 bags and the high quality is consistent. The last 100 bags I am placing in areas of soil erosion on a bare earth slope. My hope is that over several years they will weaken and spill the soils onto the slope in a slow rebuild of the ground. I am very pleased with this product.

Dirt bags
Seem ok for dirt not so much for sand.

Great sandbags!
I used these with a mix of the standard polypropylene bags--25 of these and 75 of the others. These cost more but I really liked them--they're more flexible than the others so they fit together more closely and provide a more solid barrier (I was using mine as a bullet backstop that has to be good to stop .308 Win rounds). They look far better too than the stark white of the other sandbags. Just a pleasure to use and they stack really well. In hindsight I'd probably pay more and just use these.

Heavy duty
Will be using these bags to cover my seedling trees this winter.

Small sacks
Make sure to look at second picture. I saw can hold 50 lbs and was expecting the size of a feed sack. These are small sacks. No other problems that I can see.

Sturdy burlap bag and good size if you are looking for ~1' x 2'
I'm using this product to store flower bulbs in vermiculite. It's was important to be to be able to order just 1 bag and a smaller size (versus the big potato sacks). This one allows air flow, but doesn't allow leakage with the vermiculite. It's perfect for what I'm using it for. It's sturdy and durable as well.

Rots out quickly
I filled 10 bags with sand and set them out to protect the low perimeter of my shed from monsoon flooding. After about 3 weeks when I decided to move them, I found 8 of the 10 bags had rotted so bad they dumped most of the sand out on to the ground. I bought burlap bags hoping they would last the entire monsoon season. We live in Tucson, which is high desert and not usually damp for long periods. I am not impressed.
