Yes, you do have to wet the nails in order for the white to stay under, but that is not a big deal; it is not an all day fix - I use it 2 or 3 times a day as needed or wanted. Review: Doesn’t work as it should - I have been using Sally Hansen‘s white manicure pencils since the 1980’s. Unfortunately, you can no longer get them so I thought I’d give this a try. I do know in the past I’ve bought the flowery brand at Sally’s beauty supply and it worked just as good as Sally Hansen‘s. You cannot find those pencils anymore either, so I thought I would take a chance and buy this 3 pack on desertcart. These are absolute garbage. They do not work at all and when you try to sharpen them, it just breaks off. . It’s basically just a white pencil they are trying to market for nails.
