does this motor require 2 deep cycle batteries or will it fully run on one?

Hi, The 86lb trolling motor runs on 24V. You will need 2 x 12V Deep Cycle Marine batteries connected in series to operate this motor. i notice it have 3 blade, does it move 14" boat faster than 2 blade?

Hi, A 3-blade propeller will produce more acceleration and a faster top speed than a 2-blade propeller. However, because of the extra blade, it will decrease the battery life more quickly than the 2-blade propeller. Would using a 36 volt battery just make it run faster or ruin the motor?

Mine has a circuit breaker. It would trip I'm sure. The motor is rated for 12 volts. If you bye passed the breaker it would run fast but over heat and ruin the motor.

Instead of two 12v batteries, can I run this on one 24v battery?
