Easy to use and works very well

Really good quality use for my truck on the edge of my doors

I think the seller should have a video with a professional installer demonstration of how to install this otherwise wonderful product. It claims to be a 3M product, but the packaging lacked such indications. I am removing one star because I lined up my area, cleaned with alcohol after a car wash l, installed the vinyl, and it peeled off immediately. After more research, it seems like this type of vinyl needs to be installed when it's a certain temperature outside, and you basically need to heat gun the metal to be between 160 and 200 F. If this is wrong, the seller should have the proper instructions provided and demonstrated. I own a craft heat gun and COVID era Temp gun, so I went about delicately heating the car and sticking down, using gloves, holding the tape on the edge of the door. This worked really well. The tape stuck on clean, and it stretches around some of the body edges well. I'm using it as a door edge guard and I underestimated how much I would need, so I need to buy another roll. Measure your doors and buy a roll size with extra to spare. It went on clear, and I know if I need to remove it, I can hear it and it should release from the paint, as the adhesive is not really sticking it to the car, but the heat + shrink is doing more of the sticking. If I had a white or black car, I would have used rubber edge stripes in the appropriate color, but my blue Toyota doesn't seem to be a common shade, so I went with this clear. Once installed with even a craft heat gun, it looks professional and I would buy it again. I don't think you can expect it to stay if you just stick it on, unless you're like in the middle of the day in AZ, then just leave your car in the sun and I'm sure it will get to temp to soften the tape on its own.

Much checheaper than factory OEM

While the product did do as it said and offers great protection for the door edges (and the things they come in contact with), This product was Not manufactured at the .5 inch width. It was cut down to size after-market which left very rough edges and a lot of debris on the product from when the cardboard tube itself was cut during the process. The edges of the film are not clean so they stand out far more than previous rolls of similar door edge material that I have used in the past.

It looks like 3m,it looks like the roll was cut with a butter knife! Really bad edges. I expected a quality product from 3m! It will not work for me.

No labeling. As others have mentioned, I too got a roll that looks like they cut it from another roll.

Use this tape on the crown of my golf woods. Saves them from those potential scars on those sky balls

Love this product. Leaves no residue when removed. Lasts forever. Clear.

I think it is overpriced because length was not satisfactory. Just got two windows doors.
