I currently have very short hair [thanks cancer] and I got tired of dealing with all the air products on the market, too many choices in shampoo and conditioner, so I decided I want to go shampoo free, so I needed a good comb designed to distribute the hair oils through my hair. The comb is small, so it wouldn't be good for long thick hair, but for the 2 inch fluff I currently have it is perfect. The teeth of the comb are what I would consider fine, and it feels more gentle than the same fine toothed plastic combs that you normally find. I know that this type of comb is used in Japan and China to distribute floral oils through the hair, but it works magnificently with just my natural hair oils.
