Many of the new shavers have bulky wall-wart adapters/plugs to meet low-voltage safety standards and are not effective for travel. The Hatachi is a well-made shaver that is compact. It operates only as a rechargeable shaver (you cannot charge while in use) with a retractable US-spec AC plug that plugs the entire shaver into the outlet while recharging. No cord to fuss with!! It features dual-voltage selection for international travel and has a pop-out trimmer. The shaver comes with a soft pouch, bi-lingual manual and cleaning brush. I love it, however, finding replacement foils may be an issue for those in the states.
