I love the roller bag I’ve had for the past 25 years, but the wheels have been deteriorating recently. One split on my most recent trip. They had plastic axle bearings, surprising me they lasted that long. This kit was a perfect replacement set. I had to drill out the rivet in the original wheels, and these fit perfectly. The threaded hardware makes installation easy, and the steel bearings should outlast the bag.

These suitcase wheels appear to be well made and worked when installed on my suitcase. The repair was much more difficult than I thought it would be. Using you tube videos I removed the plastic section housing the wheels from the suitcase. This part went rapidly using a phillips head screw driver and a drill to remove the 4 rivets connecting the plastic wheel housing to the suitcase. The next part of drilling out the rivet fastening the wheel to the housing also went rapidly, however the wheel would not release from the plastic housing. I next had to use a hack saw to saw the axle of the wheel to release the wheel. This took a while and I did ding up the plastic housing with the hacksaw. Once the wheels were removed I then measured the wheels and the dimensions and ordered the wheels I needed. This kit installed the wheels rapidly, however, it comes with no instructions. Then I used the phillips head screw driver to reinstall the screws connecting the plastic wheel housing to the suitcase. I checked to make sure the suitcase rolls easily. I now need to go get the #10 flathead machine screws , #10 flathead washer and 10_24 nylon lock nut to replace the rivets. This repair took me 2 hours. I recommend you first remove the plastic wheel housing before ordering the wheels to make sure you order the correct size.

Prompt shipping and arrived as scheduled. Ordered on Saturday arrived on Monday! Quality appears to be much higher than original wheels. Price seemed a bit high but still reasonable and allowed for an otherwise excellent piece of travel luggage to have years of additional use. The original wheels had become damaged and the “tread” portion literally disintegrated making the rolling ability of the suitcase non functional. The OwnMy replacement wheels were a perfect fit. The hardest part of the process was removing the original wheels. Once that was accomplished, installing the replacement wheels was simple. I was able to use the OEM axles so I didn’t need the axles that came in the set but I’m sure some applications need them. N.B. It’s important to measure the dimensions of the original wheels (both diameter and width). I’m completely satisfied with my purchase and have no problem recommending the OwnMy product to others.

Just measure first, grab a tool, and prepare to feel like a DIY hero.

These work so much better than my factory luggage wheels, and far more quiet. Easy to install as well.

Our luggage was going nearly on 20 years old, and only the wheels needed to be replaced. These replacement wheels were the perfect answer. Drilling out the rivets on the old wheels and replacing them with the screws provided in this kit was fairly simple to do. The wheels are better than the originals, since these are rubberized whereas my original wheels were a hard plastic, which is probably why they disintegrated around their axles. I've saved hundreds over buying new luggage, since I've replaced wheels on multiple pieces of luggage with these.

Excellent replacement wheel for my expensive L.L. Bean check-in bag. Only problem was I had to grind out the rivets that held the original wheels. Once those were out these replacements were excellent!

Perfect replacement kit for my Samsung carry on. Wheels disintegrated on one of those moving walkways when I went to Vegas and was a major pain. Bought these and worked perfect to replace them. Very easy job but you will need to use a hack saw or drill to make the swap.

These wheels seem to be very sturdy. I’ve seen very little wear in the 3 months I’ve been using them on my roller bag. As a pilot, my roller bag gets fairly heavy use.

Good replacement wheels for Nanuk 935 flight cases

It isn't perfect, but it's fit for purpose. There's a faint sound rolling these wheels on a Jansport driver 8. The screws that came in my package were shorter than I needed them, so I used the old screws.
