Review: Color me impressed! - I'm used to using more expensive, artist quality acrylic paints, so I went into this brand that dubbed itself "folk art" with a high degree of skepticism. I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. The pigmentation is very strong - nice and dense. This made mixing colors easy and effective. The opacity is also very good. Even colors like yellow, that are typically pretty translucent in most brands was much better than I was expecting. They dry quickly, which is good or bad, depending on what you're using them for. I was using it to paint polymer clay, so drying quick was a plus for me. I don't think they will replace my more expensive acrylic paints, but I'll definitely be buying more of them in the future. I'd definitely recommend this set as a good starter set, too. In addition to the primary colors and basic neutrals you need to get started, it also has some great secondary and tertiary colors to save you from wasting paint trying to get to the color you want. I think this would be a nice addition to anyone's home studio.

A: None are metallic just a very good selection of colors.

A: Your question, as written, does not make sense in English.
Therefore, I am going to assume that you may mean:  are these paints suitable for use by children?  Not for any child who may put it in their mouth, on their skin or on pets, your furniture and walls.
Not for children who cannot control output of paint to 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon for each use.  
This is liquid acrylic paint which means a child does NOT need to dilute it.
Paint brushes should be rinsed in cold water and washed with painting soap.  Then rinse again quite thoroughly.   Reshape brush bristles and let dry.

A: Yes the FolkArt paints can be used for dot painting.

I'm used to using more expensive, artist quality acrylic paints, so I went into this brand that dubbed itself "folk art" with a high degree of skepticism. I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. The pigmentation is very strong - nice and dense. This made mixing colors easy and effective. The opacity is also very good. Even colors like yellow, that are typically pretty translucent in most brands was much better than I was expecting. They dry quickly, which is good or bad, depending on what you're using them for. I was using it to paint polymer clay, so drying quick was a plus for me. I don't think they will replace my more expensive acrylic paints, but I'll definitely be buying more of them in the future. I'd definitely recommend this set as a good starter set, too. In addition to the primary colors and basic neutrals you need to get started, it also has some great secondary and tertiary colors to save you from wasting paint trying to get to the color you want. I think this would be a nice addition to anyone's home studio.

I have used FolK Art paint for years and have always been super pleased. The paint has a huge assortment of bright and deep colors and spreads smoothly. It washes up well and dries quickly so I can use and extender with it if needed. It has always been my first choice of acrylic paint.
