Stinger SGP90300 300-AMP Circuit Breaker

Works like a charm. Screw spend money on huge fuses, just get a 300amp breaker for you system!

This product made it very easy to get all the strands of wire into the proper hole. The connect seemed very sturdy as I could not pull out the wire with a very strong pull. I suspect this should work very well for a long time as it seems well made.

These are absolute garbage!!! I have tried these a few times in hopes I just got a couple of bad ones. They all trip or if you trip it to make adjustments and try to reset it, it will not reset. In theory they would be great but they need better quality parts. Maybe stainless where possible to prevent rust/corrosion and/or seal the box to protect the internals. It's funny how all the positive reviews are first. What a joke!!

Quality everytime

Not impressed with the quality. I've had this for several years now, and it has popped whenever it gets some electrical load that's no where near 300 amps. Even the breaker trips trying to jump start a diesel truck, my Cadillac ATS can jump it without much issue and has a factory 175 amp fuse that doesn't even come close to blowing up. From what it seems, once it trips, it gets much weaker.

Using a circuit breaker at the battery is just genius! I'm constantly in the back of my car changing around equipment because I get bored or just want to try out something new. Now I don't have to disconnect the entire battery which resets my the clock, the trip computer, giving me a bunch of error lights and fault codes ('15 S3). I will never be going back to a fuse at the battery. I have a fused distribution block in the back of the car. I have the 300-amp version and I have zero issues!

Have not had a trip event so I can not comment on that. I can only hope it will work when needed. Used as a main accessory power feed in a Ford Transit 350HD. Took me a moment to figure out where to put it as there is not much room under the drivers seat with dual batteries. And I had to get creative with all the equipment.

Honestly, I’m lost with this one. I’ve used this breaker before and loved it. Gave that one to my son. Ordered another one for myself, condition used-mint….open the first one I got and someone switched it out for the Amazon cheaper ones(used these before too, they don’t last long). So I returned it no problem. Ordered ANOTHER one, again, used mint, it just came with the plastic cover completely broken, and the little attachments that are broken off aren’t even in the packaging. Shame on you stinger, you don’t check your products, you just claim used mint. I’m going to use this one, and just electrical tape the cover on. Buyer beware on their USED MINT CLAIMS. 1 star cause I can’t give zero, and the product actually functions well when correct.

The breaker keeps popping after 1+min of continuous 130amp draw. Am disappointed.
