Using the 3M Advanced Comfort Reusable Respirator has made extended projects feel noticeably more manageable. I would have serious lung problems if it weren't for this mask ! and the 98% filters I got for it were awesome . I even use this thing for going into the porta-potty at work lol, if you ever worked at a construction site and had to use a porta potty then you know how bad it can be .. just slap this thing on and you can sit in there and hang out all day with no smell ! For non poop related things this mask also delivers exceptionally. Im a carpenter and i use it almost all day long , it's comfortable , effective and easy to adjust and remove in a hurry. There was a shipping mishap but it wasnt amazons fault or the sellers fault , it was my local post office . They delivered it to the wrong address. I called amazon to find out where my package was and they just overnighted me a whole new set ( mask , extra filters and safety glasses. all part of my original order) at no cost to me !. That is awesome costumer service!

Fits very well on my face with zero leaks. Plenty of adjustments for a perfect fit. Really appreciate the additional charcoal filters to block VOC's, and it really does work. I can spray paint and not smell ANY of the solvents.

I use this for all sorts of things. It filters great as in "you don't know how stinky it is until you take it off" great. It straps on nicely and is easy to get off and back on again. Cartridges are reasonably priced and widely available in a variety of types. The trouble come when you just want to use this only for particulate air filtration. You have to buy pricey adapters that don't fit that well.

I use this while working with plastic cement and it's been both comfortable and easy to adjust. Keep in mind that it comes with 2 filter types you install together: the organic vapor cartridge to block certain vapors and gases, and the P95 filter (thin white piece) which is held in place over the OV cartridge with a retaining cap. You will need to replace each filter separately, or order 3M's combination cartridges which include both types in one piece. To find out which type of cartridge you need, find the hazardous substances on the Material Safety Data Sheet of whatever chemicals you expect to work with, and match them to the Respirator Selection Guide on 3M's website.

Using this mask with P95 particulate filters and it works great! It's a night and day difference with the OV cartridges, especially in confined spaces such as my RV (painting my private domicile). I don't use the P100 as I want to keep the loading down and it's not necessary in my situation. The mask itself is quite comfortable; the only complaint is that the bridge of the nose comes close to my goggles. This will probably interfere with many fully sealing goggles. I love the variety of filters available for this mask. I will be buying separate N95 particulate filters so that I can use this really comfortable respirator when I work in minor dust/mold situations. P100/N100 are not required for less than 10 square feet as per the CDC. I see some reviewers speaking about the P100 filters, but there's no real use for P100/N100 on this respirator. It's better just to get full face protection when your goggles don't fit snugly (comfortably). Do you really want to work in an environment where you can't fully protect your moist eyes from mold spores and bits of poo? Don't take Half-measures. If I find myself in a tough mold situation I'll say no thanks and burn the place down instead. If you need a good everyman respirator - this is the one. If you have major mold issues to remediate, I suggest you go 'full measure' and consider your options (full-face mask, flame thrower, brother-in-law) before buying this respirator. The final thing is the mask does not seem to seal well around facial hair; a goatee would be OK at the largest. Note that the back strap is hard plastic. If you've undergone chemotherapy or have no hair, the upper strap may irritate your skin so wear a hat.

I bought this mask since it appears to be a slight upgrade to the paint project mask found at Home Depot. I used it for auto painting using spray cans. Some of these can be quite nasty and have a strong smell of solvents. With the mask on, there was no detectable smell whatsoever. I found the mask a little tricky to assemble, but I finally got the hang of it after reading the instructions. During that process, A round rubber airflow backflow valve came out, but this was easily put back into place over the filter entrance inside of the mask. It just pushes in. It comes with 2 6001 filters installed and an additional sealed package with 4 particulate filters. I don't know yet how long they will last, or how to tell if they need changing. The mask is comfortable but a little bulky at the bridge of the nose which interfered just a bit with the full coverage goggles I was using, but no real problem. Mask is comfortable around the head and easy to wear and remove once you understand how the hook works.

Very comfortable, how are your lungs? Are they sold at Walmart? Protect the ones you have so your not carrying a oxygen tank for the rest of your life. The straps are comfortable and secure very well.

I use it for enamel paint spraying. Really comfortable, cool, and easy to breathe. And it filters out all trace of chemical smell for what I’m doing. Would definitely recommend and worth the money given the health benefits.

I used this respirator at work and liked it so much that I bought one for myself for use at home.

I wear eye glasses and have a short beard and pretty much every respirator I try either fogs up my glasses or is uncomfortable (glasses arms snagging in straps). This respirator is very comfy and feels super secure.
