I was hesitant to purchase this brush, after reading other reviews....but am glad I did! I have fine, thin, wavy, shoulder length hair and prefer to use a round brush to dry and straighten out my hair. My hairdresser uses the same brush, so I searched for it. It arrived new, the bristles have not fallen out and after two weeks of use, I only found two hairs in it, which indicates it is not pulling out my hair. My hair does dry more quickly and is less frizzy using this brush. It is lightweight and the handle is comfortable to use. I recommend this brush. Review: The Best Brushes hands down. - I own 3 of these brushes in varying sizes and reach for them time and again out of all my brushes. They're truly the workhorse(s) of my mane stable (ha, someone pls laugh...) Here are some key features that make the Paul Mitchell brushes so stand out: 1. They're well-made. The brustles, the aluminum surface, the handle. Everything is sturdy and won't fall apart. I've owned multiple brushes that barely last a year's worth of at-home blowouts and styling and these babies have lasted me 2+ years. 2. The silicone/rubber handles are easy on the grip and comfortable for long use. My at home blowout lasts about 45 mins each, so that's a lot of gripping, pulling and twisting. While wooden handles look nicer, they eff up the skin on my palms like crazy and become super uncomfortable after about 3 sections of hair (ie. 5 mins into the job). They also don't offer much grip vs. the material on these brushes. 3. The bristles and aluminum exterior make for faster drying. I cannot explain this wizardry. I just have a head full of thick ass Asian hair that's halfway down to my back and this baby gets each section dried in record time. I've tried other combos like nylon bristles with boar etc etc. None gets it done as efficiently and smoothly as PM. 4. Lastly, these guys are easy to maintain. They allow me to pull the stuck hairs out easily when I want to do a brush clean-up. I soak them in a hot water/vinegar/baking soda solution and they're back to being clean and sterilized for future use. They also "dry" relatively quickly so they're ready to use the next day.

Good brush
This is a good blow dry brush, but I wish the grip was better. I have fibromyalgia and it’s hard to dry my thick hair using this brush without developing wrist and hand pain. It is rubberized, but it is smooth, so not the best grip. My okd brush that I was replacing had grooves and was rubber, and it was much easier to grip. If you don’t have joint issues like me, you should be fine.

So Light & Cuts Drying Time
I've been using Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner for the past few years, and it literally brought my hair back from the dead. However, I think the boar bristle brush I've been using has been breaking my hair off. After using the Paul Mitchell brush, I can tell such a difference in how hard I used to have to pull to get the boar brush through my hair; this one just glides through, and I have a lot less hair fall as a result. It is so light and easy to use compared to the other brush I was using. Not only that, but I am noticing less drying time, too. I waited a month to write a review to make sure it wasn't just a fluke, but I have consistently shaved 3-5 minutes off my drying time (it usually takes me 13 minutes, so 3-5 minutes is actually a considerable chunk of my time). Finally, I think it really gives good volume for my shoulder-length hair. I've even still had "good hair" on the second day a few times, too, which never happened before. This brush may seem just like the old Conair ones we used back in the day, but trust me, it's far superior. You won't regret giving it a try.

Not big enough for what they say
Good bush but its not extra large. Its actually more like a small medium. If ypu are looking for a large or xtra large brush do not get this

Brosse qui tient bien mes cheveux pour les sècher. Très bon produit. Facile à tenir dans la main, bonne adhérence. C'est ma 2e, et je recommende.
